在中華民族人文始祖黃帝陵原有的祭祀?yún)^(qū)擴(kuò)建了1萬(wàn)m2作為舉行登祀大典的場(chǎng)所。設(shè)計(jì)突出“山川形勝、一脈相承、天圓地方、大象無(wú)形”的思想，創(chuàng)造出雄偉、肅靜、古樸的圣地感，運(yùn)用現(xiàn)代建筑技術(shù)使建筑既有中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)特色，又有鮮明的時(shí)代氣息。

The sacrifice zone of the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum is enlarged by 10,000sqm for holding sacred ceremony. The design emphasizes the traditional Chinese thinking of "beautiful mountains and rivers, succession of history, circle as sky and square as ground, and the grand phenomenon without physical form", creating a sense of grandness, solemnity and primitive simplicity that belongs to sacred place. By using modern building techniques, the architecture is bestowed with the distinguished spirit of the era as well as the characteristics of Chinese traditional architecture.
