盡管基地距離火車鐵軌比較近，為設(shè)計帶來一定的困難，但是在火車站附近選址是具有戰(zhàn)略意義的。我們設(shè)計了兩個方案：第一個是弧形的，覆以深綠色的玻璃；第二個是簡潔的10層建筑，面向廣場，表皮采用石灰石板。第二個設(shè)計方案最終被采用。由于所有的室內(nèi)空間都是木制裝修，溫暖的陽光會透過玻璃板照射進(jìn)來。在建筑的轉(zhuǎn)角處，則呈現(xiàn)出兩個高而銳利的尖角——一個高而白，另一個則低而黑，與透明的電梯井連接。黑色建筑物在內(nèi)部庭院的左邊，正面朝向火車鐵軌，這樣也可以避免危險。這也是沒有任何房間面對著鐵軌方向的原因?！酰◤垥岳?譯）

The site close by the railway station is strategic,though complicated by the closeness to the tracks. We have designed two proposals for the site: One curved,covered in bot t le-green glass and a second,straightforward 10-storey limestone slab with a facade leaning towards the square. This later design is now approaching construction. As all interiors are wooden clad, a warm light radiates through the glass panels.Round the corner, two high, sharp edges appear－one high, white, and one lower, black open to the transparent elevator shafts. The black building on the left of the inner yard is the face towards the railway tracks. It is also a guard against dangers; that is why no rooms face in the railway direction.□
