1. [病號]-Whats in the garden? -There are lot of trees in it.

[診斷] “a lot of ”和“l(fā)ots of ”都可以用來形容某東西非常多。使用時不能丟三落四，寫成lot of。

[處方] There are a lot of trees in it.

2. [病號]Now I know a lot of about public signs.

[診斷]“a lot of ”是形容詞性詞組，“a lot ”是名詞性詞組，動詞know后面應(yīng)該使用名詞性詞組。

[處方] Now I know a lot about public signs.

3. [病號] -What do you do at the weekend? -I often go to the Hongmei park.

[診斷]“紅梅公園”是一個特定名稱的詞，在英語中像這樣表示特定名稱、特定地名的詞要將首字母大寫。

[處方]-What do you do at the weekend? - I often go to the Hongmei Park.

4. [病號] -Whens your birthday? -Its the 16th of May.

[診斷] 生日的表達(dá)與日期的表達(dá)十分相似，但在回答生日時要加上“在”，即介詞“on”。

[處方]-Whens your birthday? -Its on the 16th of May.

5. [病號]Its time to some cake.

[診斷] 句子“是……的時間了”有兩種表達(dá)法，其一是“Its time to＋ 動詞”，其二是“Its time for ＋ 名詞”。

[處方] Its time for some cake. 或者 Its time to eat some cake.

6. [病號]There is an excited football match. The boys are very exciting.

[診斷] “excited”和“exciting”都有表示“激動”的意思，他們的區(qū)別在于“excited”是形容某人或某動物“情緒激動”，而“exciting”則表示某件事情“令人激動”。

[處方] There is an exciting football match. The boys are very excited.
