初學一般過去時的常見錯誤

1. 昨天是星期日。

誤：It were Sunday yesterday.

正：It was Sunday yesterday.

析：be動詞的過去式有兩種形式，分別是was和were。was為am，is的過去式，were為are的過去式。本句的主語為it，故謂語使用was。初學一般過去時，同學們要注意was和were的用法區(qū)別。

2. 威爾遜叔叔上星期一到上海去了。

誤：Uncle Wilson was went to Shanghai last Monday.

正：Uncle Wilson went to Shanghai last Monday.

析：初學一般過去時態(tài)時，首先學了was和were，同學們常在每句中都用上was和were。本句中的was是多余的。

3. 昨天晚上露茜吃海鮮了嗎？

誤：Did Lucy had seafood last night?

正：Did Lucy have seafood last night?

析：did為助動詞，它后應接動詞原形。初學時，同學們常把謂語部分中的動詞都變成一般過去時。

4. 昨天早上邁克什么時候起床的？

誤：When did Mike gets up yesterday morning?

正：When did Mike get up yesterday morning?

析：同學們在掌握了動詞的三單形式之后，主語為第三人稱單數(shù)時，常會習慣地在動詞后加s，本句中did為助動詞，其后接動詞原形。

5. 他穿上上衣出去了。

誤：He putted on his coat and went out.

正：He put on his coat and went out.

析：put為不規(guī)則動詞，它的過去式與原形相同，但受重讀閉音節(jié)、末尾只有一個輔音字母、雙寫輔音字母再加ed這一規(guī)則的影響，同學們常把put，cut，forget和swim等的過去式錯寫成putted，cutted，forgetted和swimmed。

6. 安說她的父母想在中國工作。

誤：Ann said that her parents wanted to worked in China.

正：Ann said that her parents wanted to work in China.

析：動詞不定式由to加動詞原形構成，而初學一般過去時，同學們常錯誤地理解成動詞都用過去式。
