(本課選自仁愛(ài)版義務(wù)教育課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)實(shí)驗(yàn)教科書(shū)《英語(yǔ)》七年級(jí)下冊(cè)第6單元Topic 3Section B。)
一 、教材分析
本單元從學(xué)生的日常生活出發(fā),讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)介紹自己的居家布置及周圍的居住環(huán)境,涉及到鄰里之間的關(guān)系和社區(qū)服務(wù)的狀況。整個(gè)單元的每個(gè)話題分為4個(gè)部分。這4部分循序漸進(jìn)、環(huán)環(huán)緊扣,集實(shí)用性、生活性、趣味性于一體,充滿了真切的生活信息,在使學(xué)生自然地開(kāi)口說(shuō)、動(dòng)筆寫的同時(shí),讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)與他人和諧相處,共創(chuàng)美好的學(xué)習(xí)生活。指路、問(wèn)路部分的設(shè)置使得學(xué)生在掌握英語(yǔ)知識(shí)的同時(shí),接受了樂(lè)于助人、幫助別人,自己也獲得快樂(lè)的德育思想教育。
二、設(shè)計(jì)理念
采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)的方式,由簡(jiǎn)到深、由易到難進(jìn)行教學(xué),使學(xué)生通過(guò)多重的反復(fù)練習(xí)、實(shí)踐,實(shí)現(xiàn)將所學(xué)知識(shí)運(yùn)用到實(shí)際生活中的目的。同時(shí)貫穿交通規(guī)則、交通標(biāo)志和交通設(shè)施等等知識(shí),讓學(xué)生在掌握“問(wèn)路、指路”這一功能用語(yǔ)的同時(shí),學(xué)會(huì)遵守交通法規(guī),確保人身安全,做文明守紀(jì)、品學(xué)兼優(yōu)的模范學(xué)生。
三、教學(xué)方法
根據(jù)“課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”的要求,以任務(wù)型教學(xué)法為主,兼用視聽(tīng)法、競(jìng)賽法、討論法等,只要是能提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣、提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)的方式方法都可采納。
四、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.知識(shí)與技能
(1)詞匯:掌握until, miss, kilometer, should, change, public, light, danger。理解cleaner, sidewalk, crosswalk, straight, U-turn。
(2) 句型:Could you tell me the way to...?
How can I get to...?
Which is the way to...?
Turn left/right at the second/first...street.
Go along this road until you get to...
(3) 話題:交通標(biāo)志、法規(guī)和警告等。
例如Don’t drive too fast!
2.過(guò)程與方法
學(xué)習(xí)完本單元前兩個(gè)話題后,通過(guò)本課問(wèn)路、指路的教學(xué),讓學(xué)生自己創(chuàng)設(shè)合作學(xué)習(xí)的語(yǔ)言情境,使他們體驗(yàn)合作的快樂(lè)與情趣,再運(yùn)用學(xué)過(guò)的知識(shí)達(dá)到學(xué)以致用的教學(xué)目的,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。
3.情感態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀
通過(guò)大屏幕的展示,使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)使用問(wèn)路、指路的句式。借助交通圖的提示,學(xué)生進(jìn)一步知道如何遵守交通規(guī)則,如何保護(hù)自身的安全,在樂(lè)于助人等方面獲得快樂(lè),從而養(yǎng)成關(guān)心他人,為他人服務(wù)的思想。
4.學(xué)習(xí)策略
先以對(duì)話或短文的形式給出問(wèn)路、指路的相關(guān)信息,再讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的鞏固練習(xí),之后以任務(wù)型的活動(dòng)來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言知識(shí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的交際能力。整個(gè)過(guò)程從學(xué)生的實(shí)際生活出發(fā),創(chuàng)設(shè)恰當(dāng)?shù)恼Z(yǔ)言環(huán)境, 讓他們多練習(xí)和實(shí)踐,真正達(dá)到學(xué)以致用的教學(xué)目的。
五、教學(xué)的重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)
1.重點(diǎn):學(xué)會(huì)相關(guān)詞匯、短語(yǔ)和句型(前面目標(biāo)中所提到的詞匯和句型)。
2.難點(diǎn):通過(guò)詞匯與句型的學(xué)習(xí),提高語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力,達(dá)到語(yǔ)言交際的目的。
六、教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)
Step 1: warming up
T: Before the new lesson, first let’s sing an English song together, at the same time, please look at the screen, OK?
Ss:Sing the song Red Light and Green Light in English.
T:Wonderful! We all know you’re very happy as the weather gets warmer and warmer. You’ll have fun in the open air playing football, basketball, volleyball and so on. Now, I wonder who is on duty today.
S1: I am. My name is... My English name is...Today is Apr. 20th, Friday. We’re all here except Xiao Min. He is ill in hospital. Last Friday he hurt his left leg in PE lesson. We all visited him with some flowers and fruit last Sunday. I think he’ll be OK quite soon. There is nothing. That’s all.
T: Thank you a lot. OK, we all hope he’ll be fine and everything goes well. Please help him with his lessons after school. Thanks to the students who helped Xiao Min with his lessons. We’re all classmates and we should help each other. You’re right.

Step 2: revision and lead in
T: Now, let’s review the important sentences of last section and use the drills to make some sentences. (Showing the drills on the screen with a city’s some pictures.) I’ll give you only one minute to get ready for it.

S1: How can I get to the post office?
S2: Go along this street. Then turn left at the second crossing. You’ll find it. It’s on your right side. You can’t miss it.
S3: Where is the bus station?
S4: Look at the map.(Pointing the screen) Here is the tall building—the TV station. It’s behind it. And here we are, you may walk along Xinhua Street. Then turn right at the third crossing. Go on walking down, It’s five minutes’ walk. You can’t miss it. It’s on your left side.

Step 3: presentation
1.T: Now let’s listen to the tape-recorder carefully, then please answer the following questions. (Listening to 1a twice.)
Q1: Is Dinghao Building on the left or right?
Q2: Is the man in Dialogue 2 here?
Q3:Which bus can he take if he want to go to the Beitai Road?
2.Practice 1a in pairs (between teacher and students).
Now please find out the important sentences in this dialogue.

Step 4: consolidation
1.Ask several groups to act out 1a.(Get them to pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.)
2.Let them listen to 1b and fill in the blanks, then give them the right answers on the screen.
3.Pair work. Let the Students ask and give directions to familiar places with their partners.
4.Finish 1c.

Step 5: practice
1.T: Now let’s learn some traffic signs and public facilities in Part 2. Please talk about something about the traffic signs that you know.(Giving the pictures of the traffic signs on the screen.Let the students know what they mean.)
2.Let the students have a group discussion.
Suppose you are a driver, what will you do when you see the sign in 3?
eg.(1)When you see this sign, you should turn left.
(2) You can’t park your car here when you see this sign.

1.Ask the students to find out some other signs around us and know about their meanings.

七、教學(xué)反思
本課是一節(jié)與學(xué)生現(xiàn)實(shí)生活密不可分的實(shí)踐課,其設(shè)計(jì)具有實(shí)際意義,激發(fā)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。整節(jié)課得到了學(xué)生的積極配合,問(wèn)題的設(shè)置考慮到了學(xué)生的個(gè)體差異,滿足了每名學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)要求,特別是對(duì)那些英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力弱的學(xué)生,在回答交通圖標(biāo)時(shí),他們表現(xiàn)很突出,回答的也很好。學(xué)生一旦產(chǎn)生了學(xué)習(xí)興趣,便需要多加引導(dǎo),提高他們的英語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,為他們將來(lái)的學(xué)習(xí)創(chuàng)設(shè)語(yǔ)言交際環(huán)境。
現(xiàn)代化教學(xué)媒體的使用,不但節(jié)省了大量的時(shí)間,而且使圖像更加直觀、生動(dòng)和逼真,還極大地調(diào)動(dòng)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,且促進(jìn)了學(xué)生進(jìn)一步思考和探究,使越來(lái)越多的課程資源得以共享,為教學(xué)更好地服務(wù)。
