悉尼皇家澳大利亞表演場(chǎng)

皇家澳大利亞表演場(chǎng)，位于皇家農(nóng)業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)表演場(chǎng)的中心。農(nóng)業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)表演場(chǎng)在霍姆布什海灣奧林匹克場(chǎng)地。

皇家澳大利亞表演場(chǎng)將作為壘球比賽場(chǎng)，奧運(yùn)會(huì)后將作為悉尼復(fù)活節(jié)表演游行場(chǎng)和舉辦音樂(lè)會(huì)。場(chǎng)內(nèi)有10 000席位，在草地上還有10 000席位。

澳大利亞以前的體育場(chǎng)看臺(tái)頂棚為連續(xù)性的，并且和澳大利亞起伏的地貌相協(xié)調(diào)?；始野拇罄麃啽硌輬?chǎng)的看臺(tái)不同，它由5部分組成，3部分為公眾區(qū)，其它2部分為皇家農(nóng)業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)和成員所用。所有5部分的造型和比例，頗像節(jié)日亭子。棚蓋的支撐結(jié)構(gòu)和場(chǎng)地照明相結(jié)合。

垂直交通安排在5個(gè)跨度內(nèi)。棚蓋是錐體的一部分。場(chǎng)地一端淺，周邊一端深。塔桿呈V形平面，高55m，涂成紅色，和周圍的磚色相協(xié)調(diào)。側(cè)向和豎向風(fēng)荷載，由張力鋼索承受。

皇家農(nóng)業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)廊包括一個(gè)2 000m2狗館，750m2貓館，1 000m2園藝館，伐木場(chǎng)，競(jìng)技場(chǎng)和障礙賽馬場(chǎng)，1 000座帶棚室外表演場(chǎng)。每個(gè)館的設(shè)計(jì)不同，體現(xiàn)原場(chǎng)地的半鄉(xiāng)村特點(diǎn)。 （劉河譯）

In association with Conybeare Morrison and Peddle Thorp & WalkerThe showring arena is the centrepiece of the Royal Agricultural Society showgrounds which were relocated to the Sydney Olympic site at Homebush Bay, allowing the historic showgrounds in the city centre to be redeveloped.The arena functions as the Olympic baseball stadium although its long term purpose is for Sydney‘s Easter Show grand parade as well as for concerts and club baseball.It has a 10,000 seat capacity with a further 10,000 spectators accommodated on grassed berms.The grandstand design is a departure from our previous Australian stadia which have continuous roofscapes and which refer more to the undulations of Australian landscape.This stand comprises five linked segments, three for the public and one each for the RAS Council and Members, notionally reflecting the original RAS stands adjacent to the Sydney Cricket Ground.The segments also create a more intimate scale reminiscent of festival pavilions, accentuated by mast support structures which are integral with the arena lighting.The five bay configuration serves as the organising device for points of vertical circulation and service and are coloured red oxide to relate to the adjacent historic brick pit.Lateral, downward and uplift wind forces are simultaneously resolved by a system of tension cables anchored to the base of each mast and at each end.Where several strands coincide, the complexity is resolved through a sphere of rings connected to the cables by swages.The RAS Pavilions include a 2,000 square metre dog pavilion, 750routing identified by the mast frames.Each roof is a segment of a cone, shallower at the field edge and deeper around the perimeter.The masts are V-shaped in plan and 55 metres high,square metre cat pavilion, 1,000 square metre horticultural hall as well as woodchop arena, rodeo and showjumping arena and 1,000 seat covered outdoor ampitheatre.Different designs for each pavilion are devised with the aim of reflecting the semi-rural character of the original showgrounds.
