Global Influence of Chinese Science Fiction

The eighth China Science Fiction Convention was held in Beijing from April 27 to 29， 2024， at which theChina Science Fiction Overseas Influence Report （2018-2023） was released. The report， compiled by theChina Science Fiction Research Center and the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies， isbased on related data from more than 4，000 mainstream media outlets overseas from January 1， 2018to December 31， 2023. According to the report， international dissemination of Chinese science fiction hasshown a diversified， networked， and multidimensional trend， with its global influence increasing gradually.It is emerging as a rising cultural force around the world.
