Peterson Moturi journeyed to Nairobi， Kenya in 2014 to find a better life for himself.Initially， he would sell drinking water and groundnuts， as well as working as a car washattendant before becoming a watchman on night duties. Since his goal was to join a lawschool， he saved KES 50，000， which he used to pay for his admission to the law school.

He applied for admission to the Kenya School of Law （KSL） in 2016 and was success?ful， but the biggest headache facing him was that he didn’t have enough money to pay hisfees. Fortunately， he got some financial assistance from Mr PLO Lumumba， who was thenthe school director and offered him a scholarship.

However， Moturi was then faced with the challenging task of working at night andattending class during the day. Unfortunately， when he sat for his final exams， he got aPass， which could not allow him to move to the next stage， attaining a law degree. Thatmeant he had to score at least a credit and find money to pay for his diploma courses. Hedecided to approach his employer， Radar Security， for help. He honestly told his boss thathe failed and wondered if he could sponsor him for the diploma once again. To his surprise，his boss agreed， and in no time， he was back in class.

“Now I am a joyful man. I am graduating with a credit score. I can now go ahead，pursue a law degree and become an advocate，” he said at the graduation ceremony. Though?dressed in the usual graduation regalia （禮服）， Moturi somehow appeared different from hiscolleagues due to the security guard uniform he wore underneath. The 28?year?old mandesiring to help the less fortunate in society have access to justice.

With paper flowers and music hanging around in the air， Lyu Jun was hosting a small farewell ceremony at an industrial zone in Shenzhen， Guangdong Province. It was a funeral?for a pet dog. Over the past four years， Lyu has bid farewell to more than 2，000 dogs， cats and otherkinds of animals. He also does volunteer work in his spare time to promote responsible dograising.“ The pet funeral service industry is still in its babyhood， and I hope there will be aset of strict standards for people who take on this job and a better environment for theindustry，” Lyu said.
