Jolie Mejía recently witnessed anundying devotion first hand while on afamily trip to the beach. She was enjoyingsurfing in the district of Punta Negra inLima， Peru when she noticed a stray doggazing longingly out at the sea.

The dog looked clean and well?caredfor， and he was even wearing a collar. Joliecouldn t figure out why he was there byhimself with no human caretakers in sight，but she spent some time giving him loveand attention. He was so friendly， sheconsidered taking him home with her， butshe feared shed be taking someones dog.

Later， Jolie asked a local man aboutthe dog. He told her the dog is well knownin the area. His name is Vaguito， and awoman in the village technically owns him，but everybody helps take care of him. Hecontinued that practically everyone in thearea knows the dog and is very fond of?him. The dogs first owner was a fishermanwho passed away some time ago， and thedog comes to the beach every day andstares at the sea.

Even though Vaguito is surroundedby people who care about him， hell neverforget his first owner， and hell never stopwaiting for him to return. Animals simplydont understand why their owners have toleave them. As heartbreaking as this storyis， were comforted knowing that so manypeople are looking out for this loyal caninecompanion. We should all be so lucky tohave a friend like Vaguito！
