My name is Mindy. Earlier this week， I was very confused1 when someoneasked me， “Mindy， what do you want to become when you grow up？”You see， Idont really know！

My mum is a pastry chef2 . Sometimes， I help her bake3 the cakes. She thinks Idlike to be a very good pastry chef when I grow up. My best friend Jia and I take dancinglessons together. She thinks we should become ballerinas4 when we grow up. I also takesinging lessons. Adam thinks he and I should start a band5！ My good friend Cindywants to start a veterinarian6 clinic with me when we grow up， because we bothlove animals.

I was so confused！ So， I wrote Papa a letter. I told him what everyone hadsaid and asked him， “What should I become when I grow up， Papa？”Soon， hewrote back.

Dear Mindy，

There is much time to decide what you want to become when you grow up. Actually7，you could be all these things and so many other things！ So， right now， just work hard atlearning everything and be kind to everyone. The future8 then will take care of itself.
