１問 請問老師，“我在5點整起床”，是寫成I get up at five o’clock.還是I get up at 5 o’clock.？

答 在使用o’clock時，人們通常要把數(shù)字寫成單詞（比如five），而不是阿拉伯數(shù)字（例如5）。所以你說的句子，寫成第一種形式是對的。

２問? ? ?我看見一個句子：I don’t know how to answer her. 但我認為應該改為：I don’t know how to answer her question. 老師怎么看？

答 不必改。answer的賓語也可以是人。既可以說answer a person， 也可以說answer a question.

３問? ? ?請問老師，the number of... 后面接名詞的時候，名詞前是否需要加the？

答 不需要。例如：The number of students in my biology class is twenty. 此處students前不加the， 不要寫成The number of the students in my biology class is twenty.

４問? ? ?我看到這樣一段話：I get up at eight thirty at night. Then I eat breakfast at nine.請問在晚上九點吃早飯，是否符合邏輯？

答 breakfast可以理解為the meal you have in the morning（早上吃的那頓飯），但也可以解釋為the first meal of the day（一天的第一餐）。所以，這個人晚上八點半起床，一天吃的第一餐雖然在晚上九點，用breakfast也是沒有問題的。

另外，breakfast這個詞由兩部分組成，即break和fast。break是打破，但fast不是“快”，而是“禁食”“齋戒”。打破了一個晚上不吃飯的狀態(tài)，自然是早飯了。
