我是Ricardo,今年61 歲,來自玻利維亞,2018 年作為工程師入職中國中鐵玻利維亞Espino 公路項目部,目前是項目部工管中心技術經理。我的主要工作是編制日志、月報、技術方案、驗工計價支撐資料等,使項目滿足玻利維亞技術規(guī)范;優(yōu)化施工程序和資源配置,與業(yè)主和監(jiān)理保持良好溝通。對我而言,中國中鐵是我在玻利維亞最好的工作選擇。沒錯,時間也證明了這一點。
很榮幸,我自2018 年6 月以來就一直在這里工作,全程參與了施工、質量控制和部分設計改造工作。4 年的時間,我遇到了許多中國同事,有管理者、技術專家以及工人。盡管語言不通,我們卻能通過手勢、圖畫和符號相互理解,分享各個層面的經驗。有時身邊沒有翻譯,反而激起了我們克服困難的強烈興致,大家比劃起來都樂此不疲。我甚至還見證了項目營地中一對中國情侶步入婚姻殿堂的歡樂時刻。
當然,項目執(zhí)行過程中也面臨許多困難,例如新冠肺炎疫情大流行等。但這些困難反而進一步加強了團隊的團結,鞏固了工作戰(zhàn)線上所有成員之間的友誼。在這些危機時期,公司管理層為保護工人的健康和福祉付出了數(shù)不清的努力,頂著項目資金短缺的壓力,保證工人工資足額按期發(fā)放。
技術知識、施工實踐的交流是常態(tài),但更重要的是文化、習俗和人類價值觀的傳播與探討,這使得我們由工作團隊轉變?yōu)橐粋€偉大的家庭,是的,我想我可以這樣稱呼“她”。大家都在一天天地成長,這些年,我們努力實現(xiàn)工程目標,在很短的時間內完成了高速公路項目的大部分工作。一旦項目交付,我們所有參與者,不論是玻利維亞人還是中國人,都會為自己成功履職感到高興,為成為中國中鐵的一員感到自豪!

I am Ricardo from Bolivia, 61 years old. In 2018, I joined the Espino Highway Project Department as an engineer. Now I am a technology manager at the Engineering Management Center of Bolivian Espino Highway Project Department of China Railway Group Limited (CREC). I record logs,write monthly notices, design technical solutions, and prepare supporting materials for work inspection and valuation, so as to make them meet the technical specifications in Bolivia. I also improve construction procedures and resource allocation, and maintain good communication with the owner and the supervisor.For me, working at CREC is the best choice for me in Bolivia. I am a family member of CREC.
I am honored to have been working here since the start of the construction in June 2018.I have been involved in the whole process of construction and quality control, and part of design and transformation. In the past four years, I have met many Chinese colleagues, including managers, technical experts and workers. Despite language barriers, we can understand each other and share experiences at all levels through gestures, drawings and symbols. Sometimes there is no interpreter around, which instead piques our strong interest in overcoming the difficulties. Everyone has fun gesticulating. I even witnessed the happy moment when a Chinese couple got married in the project camp.
Of course, during the project implementation, there were many difficulties, for example, the Covid-19 pandemic. But these in turn further strengthened the bonds between team members and consolidated the friendship between those had worked shoulder-to-shoulder. In face of crises, the management of the company did so much to protect the health and wellbeing of the workers. Despite a shortage of project funds, they ensured that workers’ salaries were paid in full and on time.
