傻狗溫迪克（九）

還好只是虛驚一場，溫迪克又回來了。歐寶也因為溫迪克的失蹤而重新認識了牧師爸爸。爸爸很愛媽媽，但爸爸知道無法抓住任何想要遠走的東西，只能在擁有它的時候愛它。歐寶的心不再空虛，她一樣會想念媽媽，但同時她的心已被愛填得滿滿的了。爸爸、溫迪克、格洛麗亞、奧蒂斯、芬妮小姐……大家聚在一起，愉快地唱起了歌。

Winn-Dixie came out from 1）underneath Gloria Dump’s chair. He sat down next to me and leaned into me the same as I was leaning into my daddy. And Amanda stood right there beside me， and when I looked over at her， she didn’t look pinch-faced at all to me.

Dunlap cracked his 2）knuckles and said， “Well， are we gonna sing or what？”

“Yeah，” Stevie 3）echoed， “are we gonna sing or what？”

“Let’s sing，” said Sweetie Pie， opening her eyes and sitting up straight， “Let’s sing for the dog.”

Otis laughed and 4）strummed his guitar， and the flavor of the Littmus Lozenge opened in my mouth like a flower blooming， all sweet and sad. And then Otis and Gloria and Stevie and Miss Franny and Dunlap and Amanda and Sweetie Pie and my daddy all started to sing a song. And I listened careful， so I could learn it right.

溫迪克從格洛麗亞的椅子下鉆出來，靠在我旁邊，就像我靠在爸爸身邊一樣。阿曼達站在我旁邊，我仔細看看她，發(fā)現(xiàn)她看起來不再皺著眉頭了。

鄧拉普把他的指關(guān)節(jié)捏得嘎巴嘎巴響，說：“我們到底要不要唱歌？”

“對呀！”斯蒂威也說，“我們到底要不要唱歌呀？”

“我們唱歌吧！”“小不點兒”睜開眼睛，坐直身子說， “為這只狗狗唱歌?！?/p>

奧蒂斯笑著彈起他的吉他?！袄锏履埂ぢ宓ぁ碧鹈?、憂傷的滋味像一朵花在我嘴里綻放。奧蒂斯、格洛麗亞、斯蒂威、芬妮小姐、鄧拉普、阿曼達、“小不點兒”和我的爸爸開始唱歌。我仔細地聆聽，這樣我才可以很快學會。
