    Abstract By grasping the characteristics and laws of the growth of excellent talents, this paper objectively analyzes the current situation of ideological and political education and the problems existing in the innovation process of ideological and political education.In accordance with the inherent requirements of the innovation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, efforts should be made to build a specific path for the innovation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, which is consistent with the training mode of excellent and innovative talents.

    1 Introduction

    Against the background of economic globalization, cultural diversity and educational internationalization, the cultivation of innovative talents is one of the keys to the future development of China.In theOutlineoftheNationalMedium-andLong-termEducationReformandDevelopmentPlan(2010-2020), it is pointed out that colleges and universities should "focus on cultivating high-quality professionals and innovative talents with persistent beliefs, good moral character and excellent abilities"[1].The cultivation of excellent and innovative talents is not only the key to improving the national core competitiveness, but also the urgent need for China’s higher education to improve its quality and take the road of connotative development, so as to provide strong talent support for promoting China’s modernization.At the same time, as the main base for cultivating innovative talents, colleges and universities should fully realize that people’s innovative ability is not limited to the cultivation of knowledge and skills in the process of cultivating excellent and innovative talents, and should also help them to constantly define their innovation goals, correct their innovation motivation, and pay full attention to the training and cultivation of their humanistic spiritual qualities such as innovative personality and innovative spirit.The training of these humanistic spiritual qualities is inseparable from effectively carrying out innovative ideological and political education activities[2].It is an urgent need for colleges and universities to carry out personalized ideological and political education under the training mode of excellent and innovative talents to build an innovative country, to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and to deepen the reform of education.Only through continuous innovation and practice, can ideological and political education in colleges and universities develop healthily.

    2 Problems in the current mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities

    There is an inherent consistency between the improvement in college students’ ideological and political qualities and the cultivation of excellent and innovative talents[3].With the development of the times, especially the development and popularization of Internet technology, a series of new situations, new topics and new tasks have emerged in college students’ ideological and political education, and there are still many weak links and problems to be solved in college students’ ideological and political education.

    2.1 Outdated content of ideological and political educationThe development of today’s society is rapidly changing, especially the rapid development of the Internet has brought a great impact on college students’ way of life, ideas, value orientation and so on.The diversification of modern college students’ ideology requires the continuous innovation of the content of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The traditional content of ideological and political education is now difficult to meet the needs of the cultivation of innovative talents, the content of education is out of date, can not follow the rapidly changing social development, has little to do with the immediate interests of students, and is not attractive to college students.It can not well guide the practical activities of college students, and can not solve the ideological problems encountered in the process of college students’ development.As a result, the mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is difficult to form a set of perfect space system, and can not provide effective help to improve the innovative ability and professional ability of college students.

    2.2 Unclear subject of ideological and political educationThe current ideological and political education in colleges and universities does not have a comprehensive understanding of the connotation and standards of the educational subject "excellent and innovative talents in colleges and universities", ignores the internal driving force of talents themselves, and deviates from the main line of people-oriented education[4].In the actual teaching process, colleges and universities only attach importance to the social function of ideological and political education, but do not pay enough attention to the humanistic value pursued by college students themselves.The teaching principle of the "student-centered" mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is emphasized, but in the process of practical application, there is often a mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities divorced from the reality of students, and it is difficult to effectively carry out ideological and political education in colleges and universities, so that the innovative ability of college students can not be effectively improved, and the role of the mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is difficult to be effectively reflected.

    3.3 Setting up the concept of innovative education and constructing the scientific content of ideological and political educationIn order to adapt to the development of the times, ideological and political education in colleges and universities must establish a "people-oriented" modern and innovative educational concept[8].College students are all about 20 years old, which is the period of the greatest physical and psychological changes.They pursue individual independence, yearn for success, and hope that their own values can be recognized, which is also the key period for the formation of their outlook on life, values and world outlook.Therefore, colleges and universities should correctly understand the personality characteristics, psychological status, hobbies, cognitive level, family environment and other characteristics of college students, and carry out targeted ideological and political education for different individuals to stimulate college students’ innovative enthusiasm and potential and give positive guidance to make it develop in a correct and effective direction.Based on the ideological and political education content of the excellent and innovative talent training mode, everything should be people-oriented, and we should respect, understand and care about people, fully mobilize and stimulate students’ enthusiasm and creativity, and strengthen college students’ positive emotional experience, cultivate their innovative personality, hone their innovative will, shape their good moral personality, and help them form a correct outlook on life and values.

    To sum up, in order to enhance the effectiveness of the innovation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, we should be fully aware that the innovative process of ideological and political education in colleges and universities plays an important role in promoting the cultivation of innovative ability of excellent and innovative talents in the process of cultivating excellent and innovative talents[11].At the same time, it is necessary to respect the differences in the individual development of college students, and formulate an ideological and political education model suitable for colleges and universities according to the new characteristics of college students in the new period.In addition, colleges and universities should increase support for ideological and political educators and encourage ideological and political workers to innovate in ideological and political education.We should also be fully aware that only by constantly improving the existing mode of ideological and political education and carrying out effective innovation, can colleges and universities really play a role in the cultivation of excellent and innovative talents.
