In 2021， Chongqing’s GDP totalled RMB2.78 trillion， up by 8.3%; fixed assets investment， total retail sales of consumer goods， and total volume of import and export increased by 6.1%， 18.5%， and 22.8% respectively; per capita disposable income of residents rose by 9.7%. New strides have been taken in engaging in and contributing to the new development paradigm， and new progress has been made in promoting high-quality development and delivering high-quality life.
