No one knows the reason why these pigs live on the islands. Its mysterious. One theory is that sailors dropped the animals off on the island. And they planed to eat them when they come back， but they never returned. Another legend suggests they were involved in a shipwreck③， but they were able to swim to shore④， remaining on the island ever since.
