跨越時(shí)空友城記

相知無(wú)遠(yuǎn)近，萬(wàn)里尚為鄰。

縱觀(guān)世界，國(guó)際友好城市往來(lái)已成為各國(guó)間建立友好關(guān)系的基石。2014年5月，習(xí)近平主席在中國(guó)國(guó)際友好大會(huì)暨中國(guó)人民對(duì)外友好協(xié)會(huì)成立60周年紀(jì)念活動(dòng)的講話(huà)中指出，要大力開(kāi)展中國(guó)國(guó)際友好城市工作，促進(jìn)中外地方政府交流，推動(dòng)實(shí)現(xiàn)資源共享、優(yōu)勢(shì)互補(bǔ)、合作共贏(yíng)。

自1981年成都與蒙彼利埃締結(jié)四川第一對(duì)國(guó)際友好城市關(guān)系以來(lái)，四川的國(guó)際“朋友圈”不斷擴(kuò)大。截至2021年5月，四川已結(jié)成國(guó)際友城關(guān)系112對(duì)、國(guó)際友好合作關(guān)系280對(duì)。

友城交往搭建起國(guó)際合作的廣闊平臺(tái)。通過(guò)建立友好城市關(guān)系，四川各市州加強(qiáng)和世界各地在經(jīng)濟(jì)、科技、文化、教育等多領(lǐng)域多層次的交往合作。成都蒙彼利埃小學(xué)、眉山中法農(nóng)業(yè)科技園、瀘州阿塞拜疆國(guó)家館等友城交流合作成果等，不斷推動(dòng)四川高質(zhì)量發(fā)展再上新臺(tái)階。

友城交往織成了增進(jìn)民間友好、加強(qiáng)文化交流互鑒的緊密紐帶。四川以深厚的歷史文化底蘊(yùn)，廣結(jié)天下朋友，與友城互展城市別樣風(fēng)姿。璀璨古蜀文明、三國(guó)文化與神秘瑪雅文明碰撞，讓成都與梅里達(dá)惺惺相惜;彩燈為媒，為自貢照亮了與固城郡、蓋亞克的友情;美酒在手，千年酒都宜賓與國(guó)際友城哥倫比亞“把酒言歡”……

友城交往凝聚起團(tuán)結(jié)信任、攜手抗疫的強(qiáng)大力量。當(dāng)全球疫情蔓延，國(guó)際友城守望相助，用實(shí)際行動(dòng)踐行人類(lèi)命運(yùn)共同體理念。疫情嚴(yán)峻時(shí)刻，友城間相互援助堅(jiān)定了戰(zhàn)勝疫情的信心;后疫情時(shí)代，往來(lái)受限，友城積極開(kāi)辟“云端”交流“專(zhuān)線(xiàn)”，讓交往“不掉線(xiàn)”，合作“不斷檔”。

時(shí)光流轉(zhuǎn)，歲月變遷，人類(lèi)尋求對(duì)外交往合作的初心始終未變！友城交往合作順應(yīng)潮流，跨越時(shí)空，續(xù)寫(xiě)著開(kāi)放發(fā)展的時(shí)代新篇！

Bosom friends make distance disappear.

The exchanges between international friendship cities have underpinned the establishment of friendly relations between countries. In May 2014， Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke at the China International Friendship Cities Conference and the Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. He noted that great efforts should be made to seek for more international friendship cities， promote exchanges between Chinese and foreign local governments， and catalyze their resource sharing， mutual complementation and cooperation in the interest of common development.

Since 1981， when Chengdu and Montpellier established their ties as the first pair of international friendship cities in Sichuan， Sichuan’s international “circle of friends” has been constantly expanding. As of May 2021， Sichuan had established a rapport with 112 international friendship cities and 280 international friendly and cooperative cities.

Friendship-city exchanges provide a broad platform for international cooperation. Through the establishment of friendship city relations， Sichuan has strengthened exchanges and cooperation at all levels with other parts of the world in economy， science and technology， culture and education. The achievements in this regard include Chengdu Montpellier Primary School， Meishan Sino-French Agricultural Science and Technology Park， and Luzhou Azerbaijan National Pavilion， which have raised the high-quality development of Sichuan to a new level.

Friendship-city exchanges enhance people-to-people friendship and strengthen cultural exchanges and mutual learning. Relying on its profound historical and cultural heritage， Sichuan has continuously expanded its circle of friends and shown its characteristics to its friendship cities. For example， Chengdu’s brilliant ancient Shu civilization and culture of the Three Kingdoms period blend with the mysterious Mayan civilization of Merida. Zigong’s lantern culture connects itself with Goseong-gun and Gaillac. Yibin， capital of liquor with a history of thousands of years， promotes its liquor culture to its international friendship city Columbia.

Friendship-city exchanges unite efforts for the fight against COVID-19. As the epidemic sweeps the world， international friendship cities help each other and make solid efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind. In the face of the severe epidemic， they support each other to strengthen their confidence in overcoming the epidemic. Due to limited exchanges in the post-epidemic era， friendship cities open up online channels to maintain international exchanges and cooperation.

Despite the passage of time， we remain true to our original aspiration to seek exchanges and cooperation. Friendship-city exchanges and cooperation conform to the trend of times， get beyond the limits of time and space， and start a new era of open development！
