過去一年，成渝雙城手挽手、心連心，迎來成渝地區(qū)雙城經(jīng)濟圈建設(shè)的蓬勃發(fā)展。駐渝蓉領(lǐng)團考察雙城經(jīng)濟圈城市，探尋合作機遇，對未來充滿信心。

值此牛年新春之際，本刊特邀各國駐渝蓉領(lǐng)事官員，為親愛的讀者帶來新年祝福，一起展望美好的“2021”！On the upcoming Chinese year of the Ox, a symbol of confidence, power, stability, fertility and determination, I wish everyone in Chongqing a happy new year with good health and great success and prosperity!

The Year of the Rat will be remembered as one of historic and global disruption due to COVID-19. Canada's relationship with Southwest China and Chongqing reaches back over 120 years to 1892, and since then has grown despite other historic challenges. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that despite the unprecedented challenges of the past year, many Canadians and Chongqingers have found new ways of building important cultural and commercial connections. Throughout, I have been deeply impressed by the strength and resilience of the people of Chongqing. On behalf of the whole team at the Consulate General of Canada, I wish the people of Chongqing and Southwest China a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

過去的鼠年將因為新冠肺炎疫情而被銘記為歷史性和全球性的破壞之一。加拿大與中國西南地區(qū)及重慶的關(guān)系可以追溯到120年前的1892年，此后雖然經(jīng)歷了其他歷史性的挑戰(zhàn)，但這種友好的關(guān)系一直在發(fā)展。因此，毫不意外的是，盡管在過去的一年中大家面臨著前所未有的挑戰(zhàn)，許多加拿大人和重慶人仍然找到了建立重要文化和商業(yè)關(guān)系的新方法。在這整個過程中，重慶人民的力量和毅力給我留下了深刻的印象。在此，我謹代表加拿大駐重慶總領(lǐng)館的全體人員，祝重慶及所有中國西南地區(qū)的人民新春快樂！幸福安康！萬事如意！牛氣沖天！牛運亨通！牛年大吉!
