The Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a country with rich history and diverse culture.

越南社會主義共和國是一個歷史悠久、文化多元的國家。

Vietnam shares borders with China, Laos and Cambodia. Most of the land is coastal and has many beautiful beaches. The Ha Long Bay is included on the World Heritage List. The scenery looks a lot like Guilin, and is known as Guilin on the sea.

越南與中國、老撾和柬埔寨接壤。越南的大部分國土是臨海的，有很多美麗的海灘。下龍灣被列入《世界遺產(chǎn)名錄》，那兒的風(fēng)景與桂林有異曲同工之妙，被稱為海上桂林。

There has been a lot of French influence on Vietnam. It can still be seen in the cuisine and architecture. One of the well-known street foods is a sandwich called Banh mi.Vietnamese food is famous for being fresh,aromatic and light.

法國對越南有很大的影響，這種影響仍然可以在食物和建筑上看到。越南著名的街頭小吃之一是一種三明治，名叫越南法棍。越南的食物以用料新鮮、香味撲鼻、味道清淡而聞名。

Vietnamese coffee is also very popular.In Vietnam, coffee is typically served with ice cubes and sweetened condensed milk. It’s delicious!

越南咖啡也很受歡迎。在越南，咖啡里通常會加入冰塊和甜煉乳，味道好極了！

In Northern Vietnam, we find the capital city of Hanoi. The Old Quarter in Hanoi is a great place for a walking tour. Typical French Indochina architecture and some old temples can be found there.

在越南北部，我們找到了首都河內(nèi)。河內(nèi)的舊城區(qū)是個步行游覽的好地方，能在那兒看到典型的法式中南半島建筑和一些古老的廟宇。

In Southern Vietnam, the most popular place is Ho Chi Minh City. It is named after the former leader. In Ho Chi Minh City, you can find the Cao Dai Temple with its colourful design and interesting history. People there worship both Guan Gong and Newton.

在越南南部，最有名的要數(shù)胡志明市了。這個城市是用前領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人的名字來命名的。在胡志明市，可以看到有多彩設(shè)計和有趣歷史的曹岱廟。在這座廟里，人們既拜關(guān)公又拜牛頓。
