The Republic of Ecuador is a small Spanish-speaking country. The capital city of Ecuador is called Quito, it sits 2850 meters above sea level. There are two equatorial monuments in the city of Quito.

厄瓜多爾共和國(guó)是一個(gè)講西班牙語(yǔ)的小國(guó)，首都是基多，海拔2850米，城里有兩座赤道紀(jì)念碑。

2 Ecuador produces oil, but it is better known for being the world’s top producer of bananas. Its bananas can be found all around the world.

The most iconic souvenir of Ecuador is the Panama hat. These hats were worn by the workers who built the Panama Canal. It’s the perfect hat for a hot and sunny day.

Among the territorial waters of Ecuador, there is a group of volcanic islands called The Galapagos Islands. The islands have large lizards called iguanas.

The Galapagos tortoises are giant tortoises. They eat fruit, leaves and grass.

In Ecuador, you can see the Blue-footed Booby. If you want to see more birds, you can visit the Yasuni National Park. It has more than 600 bird species.
