The wind sneaks1 through the open porthole2. I stay in bed and look outside. My house—a boat， gently rolls3 from side to side. It is morning on the Biscayne Bay.

微風(fēng)掠過(guò)敞開(kāi)的舷窗，我的房子——一艘船，從一邊到另一邊輕輕蕩漾時(shí)，我躺在床上看向窗外。這是比斯坎灣的一個(gè)早晨。

I climb the ladder from my bedroom to the upper deck4 where my sister is eating， bathed in the sunshine. I see blue water hugging5 Floridas shores， and Dad taking a walk. He has some bait6 in his hand. We are going to fishing！

我從臥室爬上梯子，爬到上層甲板，我的姐姐正沐浴在陽(yáng)光下吃著飯。我看到碧藍(lán)的海水籠罩著佛羅里達(dá)州的海岸，爸爸在散步，他手里拿著魚(yú)餌。我們要去釣魚(yú)啦！

We wave goodbye to the sea birds， busy cleaning the garbage the tourists left behind. Our house takes off toward open water. My sister and I play cards and watch for dolphins while Mom and Dad find the perfect place to drop anchor7.

我們向海鳥(niǎo)們告別，它們忙著清理游客留下來(lái)的垃圾。我們的房子朝著開(kāi)放水域出發(fā)了。我和姐姐玩紙牌，看海豚，而爸爸媽媽則找到了拋錨的最佳地點(diǎn)。

The boat is quiet and my sister and I race to get our fishing poles8 and net. Dad uses a big spoon to shovel9 bait onto the waves and we wait to see what will swim our way. My sister gets surprised when she sees a family of dolphins jumping out of the water. I want to catch a fish.

船上安靜了下來(lái)，我和姐姐開(kāi)始爭(zhēng)搶自己的魚(yú)竿和魚(yú)網(wǎng)。爸爸用大湯匙將魚(yú)餌鏟到海浪里，然后我們拭目以待會(huì)有什么東西朝我們游過(guò)來(lái)。當(dāng)我姐姐發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)海豚家族跳出水面時(shí)，她非常吃驚。我想抓一條魚(yú)。

Dad has one！ His line tightens10 and the whole boat leans11 toward the fish. I get the net and wait for him to get it close enough for Mom and me to reach. We cheer as the fish lands in my net， the great catch！Dad holds the fish and lets us look at it before he sets it free. We watch as it swims away. The fish is at home in the ocean， just like we are.

爸爸抓到一條！他收緊繩索，整條船向那條魚(yú)傾斜。我抓起漁網(wǎng)，等他把網(wǎng)盤(pán)卷得足夠近，好讓我和媽媽把它抓起來(lái)。當(dāng)魚(yú)落到我的網(wǎng)中時(shí)，我們歡呼雀躍起來(lái)，好大的收獲！爸爸抓住那條魚(yú)，讓我們?cè)诜派跋瓤纯此?。我們看著它游走，就像我們一樣，魚(yú)在海洋里就是在家中。

Mom takes us back toward the bay as my sister and I put our things away.

當(dāng)姐姐和我收拾好東西時(shí)，媽媽帶我們回到海灣。

Clouds crowd together as we pull into the dock. The wind picks up speed. We dance starboard12 while the rain gets our clothes wet. And just like that， the clouds run away， off to play with another fishing boat.

當(dāng)我們駛?cè)氪a頭時(shí)，云朵聚集在一起。風(fēng)加快了速度，我們?cè)谟蚁咸?，而雨淋濕了我們的衣服。就這樣，云朵跑去和另一艘漁船玩。

After dinner， stars start looking into the night sky， telling us its time to rest. Staying in my bed below deck， I let the house rock me to sleep. I think about how lucky I am to live on a boat on the Biscayne Bay.

晚餐后，星星開(kāi)始窺視夜空，告訴我們?cè)撔菹⒘?。待在甲板下的床上，我在房子的搖晃中睡著了。我想，住在比斯坎灣的船上我是多么幸運(yùn)。
