Narrator：There’s a party at the prince’s house. All the girls can go， but Cinderella cannot， because she has no lovely clothes or shoes.

Stepsister 1：Cinderella， where’s my hat？

Cinderella：Oh， please wait！

Stepsister 1：Hurry up！

Stepsister 2：Cinderella， come and help me！

Cinderella：OK， I’m coming.

Stepsister 2：Mum， look at your beautiful girl！

Stepmother：How nice！ You are the most beautiful one in the world.

Cinderella：Can I go to the party， mum？

Stepmother：You？ Are you kidding？ What an ugly girl！ Let’s go to the party， my dear.

Cinderella：I want to go to the party， please let me go.

Stepsister 1：Stay at home and do your housework！

Cinderella：Please ... please let me go.

Stepsister 2：You can’t. Cinderella， what a funny name！ Cinderella， what an ugly girl！ Cinderella， you don’t have any nice clothes， but I do！ You don’t have any nice shoes， but I do！

Narrator：Cinderella’s stepmother（繼母）and stepsisters go to the party happily. Cinderella is crying.

Cinderella：Why can’t I go to the party？ Who can help me？

Narrator：At that moment， a fairy comes.

Fairy：Who’s crying？ Oh， it’s Cinderella. What’s the matter？

Cinderella：I want to go to the party， but I don’t have any nice clothes or shoes.

Fairy：I can help you.

Cinderella：Really？

Fairy：Yes， I can make everything you want.

Cinderella：Thank you！ I just need a beautiful dress and a pair of nice shoes.

Fairy：Close your eyes. Magic！ Now open your eyes.

Cinderella：Wow， how beautiful！

Fairy：Remember， you must be back before twelve o’clock. Now get on the carriage（馬車）！

Cinderella：OK， I will keep it in mind（記在心里）.

Narrator：Cinderella comes to the party. The prince invites her to dance with him.

Prince：How beautiful you are！ Can you dance with me？

Cinderella：My pleasure（我的榮幸）.

Prince：Ouch！

Cinderella：Sorry， I have never danced before. I’m sorry to step on（踩到） you.

Prince：Don’t worry. I can teach you.

Narrator：It’s 11∶55. The clock is ringing. Cinderella runs away.

But she leaves a shoe behind.

Prince：Hey， your shoe！ Please come back！ Where are you？ I will find you.

Narrator：From then on， the prince looks for Cinderella from door to door（挨家挨戶地）. At last， he finds her.

Guard 1：Is anybody there？

Stepmother：Oh！ Your majesty， what can I do for you？

Prince：I am looking for a girl. Anyone who can put on this shoe will be my princess.

Stepmother：Oh， that must be my daughter.

Stepsister 2：It’s me！ It’s mine！

Stepsister 1：No！ It’s not you. It’s my shoe！

Prince：Really？ Let her have a try.

Guard 1：Please try on the shoe.

Stepsister 1：OK.

Guard 1：It’s not yours. The shoe is too small for you.

Stepsister 2：It’s me！ Let me try. Oh， no！

Guard 1：The shoe is too big for you.

Prince：Who is this girl？ Let her have a try.

Stepsister 2：No， it’s not her shoe. She didn’t go to the party.

Cinderella：Let me have a try.

Prince：Oh！ I find you！ Will you marry me？

Cinderella：Of course， my prince！

Stepmother：No！ It’s impossible！

Prince：Let’s go， my fiancee（未婚妻）.

Cinderella：Wait！ I want to find that fairy. We should thank her.

Narrator：The prince puts up the poster to look for that fairy. At last they find her.

Cinderella：Thank you， fairy. Is there anything I can do for you？

Fairy：I need nothing. I hope you will trust each other and live a happy life forever.

Narrator：Cinderella and the prince live happily together. A year later， they have a lovely baby named Annie.
