The Tai Mahal（泰姬陵） is a beautiful building in India（印度）. It is one of the Seven Wonders（七大奇跡） of the world. It has a long history（歷史） and many beautiful views（風(fēng)景）.
About 400 years ago，Emperor（皇帝） Shah Jahan（沙賈汗） built the Tai Mahal for his wife.
Shah Jahan loved his wife very much. When she died（死），Shah Jahan wanted to build the world’s most beautiful building for her. So he called all the best workers in India together（一起） and built the Tai Mahal. It took（花費(fèi)） about 20，000 people 22 years to finish（完成） the job.
The Tai Mahal looks like a palace（宮殿），but it’s a tomb（陵墓）.
