看中國的開放，不僅要看細節(jié)、領域，更要看長遠、全景。當然，開放是雙向的、是相互的，就好像雙人劃船，光靠單人使力，這個船只能原地打轉(zhuǎn)。只有兩人同向用力才能繼續(xù)前進。

In making sense of China's opening-up， one needs to pay attention to specific steps in concrete areas， and more importantly take a long-term， holistic view. Like rowing a boat， opening- up is a two-way movement entailing mutual effort， otherwise it may keep spinning around in the same place.

中日兩國領導人互訪，有利于讓中日關系回歸正常軌道，但更重要的是要夯實中日關系的基我們不能搞“一錘子買賣”，要讓中日關系持續(xù)向好。

Exchanging visits at the leadership level will help get the relationship back on track. But we must consolidate the foundation of China-Japan relations rather than just making a one-time deal， and there needs to be sustained， steady development of this relationship.

如果說兩國關系現(xiàn)在出現(xiàn)了“小陽春”，要防止“倒春寒”，要讓中日關系向著持續(xù)穩(wěn)定的方向發(fā)展。

We may now have a spring in China-Japan relations， but we also need to watch out for any possible return of chills. China and Japan need to work together for the sustainable development of bilateral relations.

We should not in the slightest slacken our efforts， and we should by no means rest on our laurels and seek comfort while losing sight of potential problems. We should always bear in mind what we have set out for and redouble our efforts to achieve greater achievements in the new era.
