牛背山志愿者之家是四川被譽(yù)為中國(guó)最美觀云海之地的牛背山上的一間青年旅舍。跟中國(guó)各地的農(nóng)村一樣，年青人遷移到大城市工作，村內(nèi)剩下的老弱婦孺，棲身簡(jiǎn)陋?dú)埰频奈蒎贾?。資深義工大雁眼見村內(nèi)劣況，細(xì)心思量，推行小區(qū)項(xiàng)目，希望透過(guò)興建青年旅舍為村內(nèi)老嫩帶來(lái)收入。旅舍由翻新舊農(nóng)舍得來(lái)，團(tuán)隊(duì)花了不少時(shí)間補(bǔ)漏損毀的屋頂，拆卸旁邊毫不防震的磚屋，重整室內(nèi)結(jié)構(gòu)，但同時(shí)保留傳統(tǒng)建筑風(fēng)格。屋內(nèi)的抽水馬桶更是全村唯一一個(gè)。

The Cattle back mountain volunteer house is a youth hostel in the popular tourist spots at Pumaidi Village,Luding County, Sichuan Province. Like many ruralvillages in China, as young adults migrate to big cities for jobs, elderly and children are left behind in rows of houses on the verge of crumbling. Recognising the problem, Dayan, an experienced volunteer, construed a community project in the form of a youth hostel,which will bring money in to feed the young and the old. On the site stands a dilapidated residence with a broken roof and a self-built brick house that is neither consistent with the surrounding nor resistant to earthquake. After many days of pulling down walls,repairing the internal structure and reconfiguring the floor plan, the team renovated the house while retaining the traditional style. The house also has the only proper fl ush toilet in the village.
