重慶來福士廣場(chǎng)是新加坡在華投資最大的單體項(xiàng)目，依靠集地鐵、公交樞紐、游輪碼頭為一體的多維立體交通網(wǎng)絡(luò)，無縫對(duì)接城市三大C B D（解放碑、江北嘴、彈子石）及周邊商圈，具有強(qiáng)大的經(jīng)濟(jì)輻射力和向心力。

7月11日下午6點(diǎn)，約翰斯頓與代表團(tuán)成員一行，來到正在建造中的位于朝天門的重慶來福士廣場(chǎng)，并在重慶市規(guī)劃展覽館詳細(xì)了解重慶發(fā)展布局，參觀重慶來福士廣場(chǎng)項(xiàng)目的完整沙盤模型。重慶來福士廣場(chǎng)由加拿大建筑師莫瑟·薩夫迪擔(dān)綱設(shè)計(jì)，以代表城市啟航的時(shí)代之帆為設(shè)計(jì)基點(diǎn)延展創(chuàng)作，彰顯出船帆迎風(fēng)起航的磅礴氣勢(shì)，并由三十余家國(guó)際頂尖顧問團(tuán)隊(duì)合力打造。該項(xiàng)目將是中國(guó)西南地區(qū)重要的世界地標(biāo)，重慶的“世界會(huì)客廳”，以超越城市的地位和量級(jí)，將重慶的歷史文明和未來想象的融合呈現(xiàn)給世界的窗口。

At 6 in the afternoon, Johnston and the delegation went to the Raffles Plaza being built in Chaotianmen, and the Planning Exhibition Hall of Chongqing Municipality to know about the developing layout of Chongqing and the complete sand table model of Raffles Plaza. Designed by Moshe Safdie, a Canadian architect, based on the sails of time that represents the sailing of city, the plaza was created and designed to show the tremendous momentum just like a boat is about to sail against the wind. The plaza is built by more than 30 world top international consultant teams. This project would become an important world landmark in the southwest China and Chongqing’s “world reception hall” to surpass the status and magnitude of Chongqing, which would become a window to present the integration of Chongqing’s historical civilization and future vision to the outside world.
