Where is Jellyfish Lake located？

I'm swimming alongside jellyfish！ I'm in the southern lagoon 2 0f Palau. in what iscalled the "Jellyfish Lake"， a marine 3 lake that is packed with beautiful jellyfish.

Interesting facts about Jellyfish Lake

The Jellyfish Lake is one of the marine lakes on the Eil Malk island here in Palau.There are around 70 other marine lakes around here， but this is the only one that is open totourists. Imagine watching millions of jellyfish swarm across the lake， every day！ That'swhat occurs here-every day.

The Jellyfish Lake is 12，000 years old， and is quite isolated 4 from the others. It is，however， connected to the ocean through fissures 5 in the reef 6. The isolation has causedthe jellyfish living in the lake to have evolved 7 differently from the jellyfish in the nearbylagoons.

How many different kinds of Jellyfish are there？

The Jellyfish Lake is populated chiefly by two species of jellyfish-the moonjellyfish and the golden jellyfish. The golden jellyfish is the more active of the two. and ison the move nearly throughout the day， resting only at night. The golden jellyfish move tocertain locations 8 in the lake at certain times of the day. Isn't that interesting？ The moonjellyfish move at night， coming to the surface， probably to feed.

It's a treat to swim around with these jellyfish， and thankfully， their stingers 9 aretoo small to cause any damage to visitors.

In recent times， there have been reports of the falling number of jellyfish， which is ahuge cause for concern 10. Scientists think that this could be because of climate change. Ireally hope not; this place is just too beautiful！

水母湖里主要有兩種水母一海月水母和黃金水母。黃金水母是兩者中比較活躍的，幾乎整天都在移動，只在晚上休息。黃金水母在一天中的固定時(shí)間移動到湖中的固定位置。這不是很有趣嗎？而月亮水母在晚上移動到湖面，大概是為了覓食。

和這些水母一起游來游去是一種享受，謝天謝地，它們的刺太小，無法對游客造成任何傷害。
