Tree Planting Day

Tree Planting Day in China is on 12th March. As we all know， trees are important to us. Firstly， trees can keep the air clean. They can give us much fresh air which is good for our body. Secondly， trees can keep us cool. If there are no trees on the earth， how hot it will be in summer. Finally， trees can make the place beautiful. Some trees with flowers are nice. However， there are fewer and fewer trees on the earth. People cut trees down to make more houses， roads and buildings. Farmers also need more and more land to grow rice and vegetables. And the weather is getting worse and the earth is getting hotter. So we need to plant more trees to make the earth green. During the Tree Planting Day， my friends and I planted many trees in our school. We had a lot of fun.
