The series is inspired by the fairy tales of Charles Perrault who is the father of French childrens literature. It is the first time for the whole series(8 photographs) to be exhibited in the gallery.
The eight photographs of the series The Fairy Tale of Perrault are based on eight stories collected in The Fairy Tales of Charles Perrault, including the well- known fairy tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, Little Thumb and Cinderella, etc.. Photographed by Linhof In Rambouillet forest in December 1959, with strong enthusiasm, Willy Rizzo borrowed the performance costumes from Theatre of French Comedy, arranged all the settings, asked the comedians to put the appropriate posture for the shooting. “I used an 20 x 25 inches to enlighten because I need more light sources. Jean Demanchu who was the art director of Marie Claire at that time helped me a lot.” said by Willy Rizzo. In the era of digital transformation, Linhof demonstrates the rigor of a photographer, the delicate texture and realistic color of the image. All the photographs of this series are vintage printed with limited edition. The frame of each photograph is specially designed by the artist himself. Through the lens of Willy Rizzo, we walk between romance and reality, deepness and quietness, innocence and maturity.
2016年11月29日,杜夢(mèng)堂上海畫(huà)廊榮幸舉辦著名攝影師威利·里佐(Willy Rizzo, 1928~2013)攝影展“佩羅童話”。展覽首次完整呈現(xiàn)威利·里佐1959年以法國(guó)兒童文學(xué)之父夏爾·佩羅的童話故事為靈感創(chuàng)作的8幅童話系列攝影作品。
8幅作品取材自夏爾·佩羅童話故事集中的8篇故事,其中有大眾熟知的小紅帽、睡美人、灰姑娘等。1959年12月在法國(guó)朗布依埃森林,威利·里佐傾注滿腔熱情,先是向法蘭西戲劇學(xué)院租借了服裝道具,結(jié)合創(chuàng)意審美及忠于原作故事描述在實(shí)地布景,并要求專(zhuān)業(yè)演員們依據(jù)腳本擺出相應(yīng)姿勢(shì),運(yùn)用林哈夫(Linhof)大畫(huà)幅相機(jī)進(jìn)行拍攝,“我選用20 x 25寸的暗箱以提高亮度,適應(yīng)所需的多個(gè)光源。”
威利·里佐說(shuō)。在數(shù)碼橫行的年代,林哈夫大畫(huà)幅不僅彰顯了攝影師本身的嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),所呈現(xiàn)的清晰成像、細(xì)膩質(zhì)感、柔和逼真的色彩更顯示其獨(dú)特魅力。威利·里佐的這一系列每幅作品皆是限量vintage print(復(fù)古打?。⒂伤囆g(shù)家親自量身定制相框。時(shí)隔多年,在威利·里佐富于戲劇卻毫無(wú)矯揉造作的鏡頭下,我們置身夏爾·佩羅的童話世界,漫步于浪漫與現(xiàn)實(shí)、濃郁與靜謐、童稚與成熟之間。
威利·里佐1928年出生于意大利那不勒斯,30年代隨母親定居法國(guó),少年時(shí)期便顯現(xiàn)出對(duì)攝影的天賦及熱愛(ài)。他的職業(yè)生涯起步于新聞攝影的黃金時(shí)期。二戰(zhàn)爆發(fā)后,威利·里佐受雇于《觀點(diǎn)》雜志成為一線記者,去往北非突尼斯,其組圖《坦克的尸體》入選《生活》雜志。戰(zhàn)后,威利·里佐受聘于名人私人生活雜志《法國(guó)周日》(France Dimanche),并成功前往第一屆戛納電影節(jié)進(jìn)行拍攝。1948年,他加入《巴黎競(jìng)賽畫(huà)報(bào)》,拍攝了當(dāng)時(shí)眾多名流:勒·柯布西耶、讓-保羅·薩特、瑪麗蓮·夢(mèng)露、碧姬·芭鐸、索菲亞·羅蘭、奧黛麗·赫本、簡(jiǎn)·方達(dá)、可可·夏奈兒、弗雷德·阿斯泰爾、薩爾瓦多·達(dá)利和畢加索,等等。他拍攝的丘吉爾彩色肖像登上了當(dāng)年的《巴黎競(jìng)賽畫(huà)報(bào)》封面,同時(shí)他親自前往紐倫堡審判現(xiàn)場(chǎng)和法越戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)進(jìn)行拍攝,也是在梵蒂岡拍下新任教皇庇護(hù)十二世的第一人。《丁丁歷險(xiǎn)記》作者埃爾熱甚至以威利·里佐為藍(lán)本來(lái)創(chuàng)作《綠寶石失竊案》中的攝影師沃爾特·里佐托(Walter Rizotto)。2013年,帶著一個(gè)時(shí)代的回憶與印記,威利·里佐在巴黎去世,享年84歲。
配合威利·里佐的童話攝影,杜夢(mèng)堂上海畫(huà)廊將不同時(shí)期、各具特色、生動(dòng)形象的動(dòng)物雕塑匯聚一堂,營(yíng)造起一個(gè)夢(mèng)幻奇特、稚趣歡樂(lè)的童話樂(lè)園。在一幅幅美妙的攝影面前,既喚起過(guò)往兒時(shí)的回憶,也帶來(lái)哲學(xué)式的隱喻。
