《荒野獵人》可謂是小李子拍得最為艱辛的一部：特意增胖扮丑、忍受刻骨的嚴(yán)寒、生吃野牛肝臟、鉆進(jìn)血淋淋的馬肚子里取暖……為了電影，小李子也是蠻拼的。然而，對(duì)于經(jīng)歷過(guò)數(shù)次生死時(shí)刻的小李子來(lái)說(shuō)，這些都不算什么。畢竟，他可是一個(gè)潛水遇到鯊魚攻擊、坐飛機(jī)遇到引擎爆炸、跳傘遇到傘包打不開的美男子……他自己也說(shuō)：“如果貓有九條命，我想我已經(jīng)浪費(fèi)好幾條了?！辈痪们?，他做客著名脫口秀《艾倫秀》（Ellen Show），笑談自己的“生死時(shí)刻”。

Leon: Yeah.

Leon: I only did that once.

Ellen: One…Will you do it again?

Leon: When you…when both3)parachutes don’t open, you4)tend to not go repeat something like that. Yeah.

Ellen: What’re you talking about? Well then, how do you get down?

Leon: I had…I jumped out of the airplane, and then, my first chute didn’t open. They cut—it’s5)tandem, so somebody’s on your back—they cut that line. We started free-falling towards earth, and that’s when you get the, you know, 8×10 glossies1：指8×10英寸的照片，即10寸（19.2×24.4cm）照片。of your whole life flashing before your eyes. And then the second one was6)tangled as well, and I saw all my friends sort of7)popping off with their, you know, their parachutes. And I’m still8)plummeting towards the planet Earth, and, and then that was tangled for about a good…I don’t know, 20, 30 seconds, and then he untangled it, and then he told me, “Oh, you’re probably gonna break your legs now because this…we’re going too fast.” So it was one of the worst experiences of my life, and I’ll never do it again.

Ellen: And did you break your legs?

Leon: I did not break my legs.

Ellen: Wow! So he’s9)whispering in your ear, or10)yelling in...

Leon: He was11)screaming.

Ellen: Screaming in your… (Whispers) “You’re gonna break your legs.”

Leon: (Whispers) “You’re gonna break your legs.”

Leon: I was on a plane to Russia and the13)engine14)exploded. I was looking out the window and the entire engine just turned into a fireball. Leon: Yeah.

Ellen: …river.

Leon: This happened in…in one of the engines, and I was the…I was the only person there that seemed to see this, but it was a16)flaming fireball. It was all Russian, um, passengers, and I17)kinda felt like I’d already died and gone to heaven, ’cause no one said anything. And I was screaming at the top of my lungs, saying, “What the hell is going on here?”And people just kinda looked back at me and the…and the18)stewardess came and said,“We seem to have a, a slight problem here.”And the Russian guy finally said, “What is the problem?” and she said, “Well, we…we lost one of our engines,” and he said, he goes,“How many engines did we have?” She said,“Well, we had two. Now we have one.”

(The audience laugh and applause)

Leon: And…h(huán)e19)proceeded to say, “That is not…that is not good, that is not good.” And we basically20)dumped fuel for 45 minutes and did an21)emergency landing, and all our tires exploded, and there was eh, 100 different22)ambulances there, and it was on CNN, and…that was another23)bummer.

Ellen: Wow! Oh my God! It…that’s24)incredible!

Leon: I feel like I should write a book now.

Ellen: Yeah, well…

Leon: Keep it down.

Ellen: No, I’m gonna write it.

(Leon laughs)

艾倫：那后來(lái)你摔斷腿了嗎？

萊昂：沒(méi)有。

艾倫：哇！所以他是在你耳邊小聲說(shuō)的？還是大喊大叫……

萊昂：他尖叫著說(shuō)的。

艾倫：在你耳邊尖叫……（悄聲說(shuō)）“你會(huì)摔斷腿的?！?/p>

萊昂：（悄聲說(shuō)）“你會(huì)摔斷腿的?！?/p>

艾倫：（尖叫）“什么？我聽不見！”哇！那太可怕了！那么最讓你害怕的一段經(jīng)歷是什么？

萊昂：我在一架開往俄羅斯的飛機(jī)上，然后飛機(jī)引擎爆炸了。我剛好望向窗外，看到整個(gè)引擎燒成了一團(tuán)火球。這件事發(fā)生在沙林遇到大雁撞擊兩個(gè)引擎后不久……

艾倫：是的，那次他將飛機(jī)迫降在……

萊昂：是的。

艾倫：……河里。

萊昂：同樣的事也發(fā)生在……在那駕飛機(jī)的一個(gè)引擎上，而我……我似乎是飛機(jī)上唯一一個(gè)看到的人，但那可是一團(tuán)熊熊燃燒的火球啊。飛機(jī)上全是俄羅斯乘客，我感覺(jué)自己好像已經(jīng)上天堂了，因?yàn)轱w機(jī)上沒(méi)有人說(shuō)話。我聲嘶力竭地大喊：“究竟發(fā)生了什么事？”其他人回過(guò)頭看著我，然后……然后空姐走過(guò)來(lái)對(duì)我說(shuō)：“我們好像遇到了一點(diǎn)小問(wèn)題。”終于有一個(gè)俄羅斯人問(wèn)：“什么問(wèn)題？”空姐說(shuō)：“嗯，我們……我們少了一個(gè)引擎?！比缓笏f(shuō)，他說(shuō)：“我們?cè)扔袔讉€(gè)引擎？”她說(shuō)：“嗯，我們本來(lái)有兩個(gè)，現(xiàn)在我們只有一個(gè)。”

（觀眾笑著鼓掌）

萊昂：然后……他接著說(shuō)：“那可不……那可不好，那可不好?！比缓笪覀兓瞬畈欢?5分鐘的時(shí)間排油，接著緊急迫降，所有的輪胎都爆掉了，還有，呃……動(dòng)用了100輛來(lái)自不同醫(yī)院的救護(hù)車，還上了美國(guó)有線電視新聞網(wǎng)絡(luò)（CNN）的新聞，這又是另一件倒霉事。

艾倫：哇！我的天！這……這簡(jiǎn)直太不可思議了！

萊昂：我覺(jué)得我現(xiàn)在應(yīng)該寫本書。

艾倫：是的，嗯……

萊昂：記下來(lái)。

艾倫：不，我會(huì)幫你寫。

1994年，19歲的小李子憑借在《不一樣的天空》（What’s Eating Gilbert Grape）中的精彩表現(xiàn)，得到了第66屆奧斯卡最佳男配角提名，從此開始了漫長(zhǎng)艱辛的沖奧之路。

2005年，好運(yùn)再次降臨，電影《飛行者》（The Aviator）為他贏得了人生中第一次的奧斯卡最佳男主角提名；失敗不算什么，強(qiáng)者總是越挫越勇，2007年，小李子又被提名最佳男主角，這次是電影《血腥鉆石》（Blood Diamond，又名《血鉆》）；2014年，在《華爾街之狼》（The Wolf of Wall Street）里的賣力表演又為他贏得了最佳男主角提名，卻依舊與獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)失之交臂，已經(jīng)陪跑20年的小李子在頒獎(jiǎng)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)眼含熱淚的失落表情讓無(wú)數(shù)觀眾為之心疼；2016年，他帶著《荒野獵人》（The Revenant）第五次出征奧斯卡，終于沖奧成功，獲封影帝。
