Last week we held a discussion on what we should do for our mother school before we graduate1. The students in our class have different suggestions.
Some students think that we can donate money to buy books for the school library or something else for the school. Other students think that it’s not necessary to spend money. We should study hard so that we can enter an important junior high school which makes our school feel proud of us.
In my opinion, we don’t have to spend money. We can do something meaningful without money. For example, we can do some voluntary work to make the school’s environment beautiful or try to make great achievements2 in the coming exams that all the teachers and our classmates will be proud of us.
I’d like to know your idea. Could you give us some advice?
