FUSION OF SURREALISM

Under the influence of his friend Picasso, the works of Wilfredo Lam hint at styles of cubism and surrealism. Born to a Chinese father and Ana Serafina Castilla, his mother of mixed European and African ancestry, Lam carried on the legacy from Chinese calligraphy and European cultural elements and beautifully incorporated them with other contemporary art styles. During the Festival Croisements, the paintings of Lam will be exhibited in Beijing from May 7th - May 31st, Guangzhou from June 28th - August 7th and Kunming from September 28th - October 30th. which open a window for the Chinese audience to deeply understand this great artist.

超現(xiàn)實的融合

受同伴畢加索的影響，林飛龍的作品呈現(xiàn)出超現(xiàn)實派的風(fēng)格。更特別的是，他的作品既有從父親處繼承的中國書寫和線條，也有從母親安娜 ·瑟拉非娜 ·卡斯綈雅處繼承的非洲及歐洲傳統(tǒng)文化元素。在 “中法文化之春”藝術(shù)節(jié)期間，林飛龍版畫展將陸續(xù)在北京（5 月 7-31 日）、廣州（6 月 28日 -8 月 7 日）和昆明（9 月 3 日 -10 月 30 日）推出，中國觀眾將有機會對這位偉大的華裔藝術(shù)家有更深的了解。

LOVE AND BOND BETWEEN FATHER AND SON

The opening ceremony of the Festival Croisements was launched in early May in Zini Art and Creative Park in Shawan Panyu. Included in the ceremony was Father and Son, a photography exhibition by renowned French photographer Grégoire Korganow, presenting a unique angle and opportunities to rethink what it is to be a father, a son and the relationship between them. According to Korganow, he spent six years shooting stories about fathers and sons in France, Brazil, and China. After this journey, he managed to reconcile with his own father who had been estranged under a misunderstanding.

5 月初，“中法文化之春”開幕式暨《父與子》攝影展會在充滿文藝氣息的番禺沙灣紫泥堂創(chuàng)意園舉行。法國知名攝影師 Grégoire Korganow 用鏡頭帶給觀者思考：什么是父親、什么是兒子、什么將他們聯(lián)系在一起。他說，在長達六年的時間里，他拍攝了法國、巴西、中國的多對父子的故事，也讓曾經(jīng)與父親有隔閡的他，終于彼此理解走近。
