      根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容,從短文后的選項中選出能填入空白處的最佳選項,選項中有兩項為多余選項。

(一)Five Easy Ways to Feel Your Best

Stress is no good for your mind or your body. Studies have found that your chance of a heart attack increases 9.5 times after an intense event. Anxious feelings can also lead to sore skin.

      One:Make Time for Meditation(冥想).

You dont need to meditate for hours to reap the benefits—just ten minutes a day can make a difference. The key is finding quiet moments you can commit to. Whether you opt for first thing in the morning or just before bed, youll feel calmer in no time.

      Two:

Essential oils smell amazing, sure, but theyve also been linked to reduced stress levels and may even be able to kill flu cells. Whether you prefer peppermint or lavender, fifteen minutes is a great way to keep your mood on the up and up.

      Three:Pump Up the Jams.

Whats even more interesting, though,is that the type of music may matter less than the act of listening. From classical to heavy metal, music of all sorts can help ease tension. Pick a song, kick back, and tune out.

      Four:Take a Walk.

Plenty of research has shown just how bad sitting all day can be for your productivity and your overall health, but it turns out a lunchtime stroll may be even more beneficial than previously thought. Its just another reason to keep flats in your desk drawer.

      Five:Drink Your Vitamins.

Stress eating is very much a real thing, and we tend to desire sugary, fatty foods during those tough times. Stocking up on better-for-you snacks is one way to avoid diet problems.

      A. Smell the Difference.

      B. Breathe the fresh air.

      C. Making sure you remember to take your vitamins is another.

      D. One study found that a short walk can boost creative thinking.

      E. These five tasks make dealing with the busiest days easy and fun.

      F. Now its time to focus your enterprise spirit using the following five steps.

      G. Multiple studies have shown that enjoying a little music can reduce stress.

      (二)How to “Fight” Fair

Arguments happen in every healthy relationship—we know it sounds contradictory, but its true — but they can still have a negative impact if they arent handled properly.

Take a breath. We know that it can be hard to think clearly when youre angry,so we would first like to encourage you try to take a second to collect your thoughts before engaging in a dialogue with your partner. Anger can be poisonous and if youre not careful you could potentially say something that might damage your relationship.

Even though youre angry and it can be hard to be objective, try to see the situation for what it is. Do not escalate(升級)the argument just because your partner does. Ask yourself—is this situation worth arguing about? Try to understand the purpose behind an action — if something happened accidentally you should not treat it as if it was done intentionally.

Avoid making excuses. Denying something only makes it more hurtful and often your partner will be able to forgive you much more quickly if you are honest.

Set ground rules. After a fight you and your partner can take stock of what happened. At this point you can set some ground rules for future fights — like not cussing at each other or calling each other names — which might help reduce intensity.

But its especially difficult when youre arguing with someone that you care about.

Thinking carefully and controlling yourself during an argument can help you avoid saying something that could permanently scar your relationship.

      A. Take positive action.

      B. Take the situation as it is.

      C. Fighting with someone is never easy.

      D. Heres how to deal with the major dramas that may head your way.

      E. You can discuss what hurt each of you and how you can move forward.

      F. If you have done something wrong, the best possible option is for you to admit it.

      G. The trick to preventing an argument from destroying your relationship is learning how to fight fair.

      (三)Reducing Stress

How can you help kids cope with stress?Proper rest and good nutrition can boost coping skills,as can good parenting. Whether they need to talk or just be in the same room with you, make yourself available. Dont try to make them talk, even if you know what theyre worried about. Sometimes kids just feel better when you spend time with them on fun activities.

Its really hard for some people to come home after work, get down on the floor, and play with their kids or just talk to them about their day—especially if theyve had a stressful day themselves.

Help your child cope with stress by talking about what may be causing it. Together, you can come up with a few solutions like cutting back on after-school activities, spending more time talking with parents or teachers,or keeping a journal.

For example, let your son or daughter know ahead of time that a doctors appointment is coming up and talk about what will happen there. Tailor the information to your childs age — younger kids wont need as much advance preparation or details as older kids or teens.

Remember that some level of stress is normal. Let your kids know that its OK to feel angry, scared, lonely,or anxious and that other people share those feelings. Reassurance(安心)is important.

      A. Make time for your kids each day.

      B. Talk to your kids about what they see and hear.

      C. Even as kids get older, quality time is important.

      D. As kids get older, academic and social pressures create stress.

      E. But expressing interest shows your kids that theyre important to you.

      F. So remind them that youre confident that they can handle the situation.

      G. You also can help by foreseeing potentially stressful situations and preparing kids for them.
