On July 12th, after a flight of 15 hours, China Southern's cargo aircraft (flight CZ472) landed smoothly at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The freighter flew nonstop from Los Angeles, with nine high-end pure electric cars on board which had just finished their journey in North America on their “80days 2016 - The Ultimate Electric Vehicle Challenge”.By hauling the fleet across the Pacific Ocean, China Southern set a record in the number of electric vehicles transported in a single flight for all domestic airline operators in China.

CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINES LAUNCHES GUANGZHOU TO PHU QUOC ROUTE 廣州——富國島開航

On July 6th, China Southern added a new flight route from Guangzhou to Phu Quoc serviced by a Boeing 737-700. Flying on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, this is the first regular international service from Phu Quoc Island and the 4th route operated by China Southern to Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Nha Trang.
