Portraits of Writers with Pets:the Humanizing Animal Connection

To us, it’s always seemed as though pets attach themselves to artists (and vice versa1. vice versa: 反過來也一樣，反之亦然。, of course) in greater numbers than to regular folks. Maybe it’s the pull of a constant,silent listener to bounce ideas against, or the boundless soul of the writer.2. 也許因為寵物是作家可以向之傾吐心聲的忠誠而安靜的聆聽者，或是因為作家深廣的靈魂。pull: 影響力，吸引力；boundless: 無窮的，無邊際的。Either way, pictures of famous authors and their pets are humanizing3. humanizing: 人性化的。and adorable, so we’ve collected a few of them here.
