Liu Wanjie was born in Kaifeng， Henan Province. Under the influence of his father， Liu was fond of painting and calligraphy at an early age. So far， he has devoted himself to the creation and research of painting and calligraphy for more than 20 years. After years of exploration and research， he combined the traditional Chinese painting features with the contemporary calligraphy and painting creation innovations， creating many excellent artworks that received highly praise from the public. Since 2000， more than 100 artworks of his were collected by famous museums and organizations at home and abroad. Besides， Liu also is keen on charity and was awarded by Yiwu television as Ambassador of Love in 2007.

劉萬杰，出生于河南開封。自幼受父劉春亭影響癡迷于書畫藝術(shù)，潛心研習(xí)20余年，曾兩次到啟功先生家中請教，并多次聆聽先生書法講座，受益匪淺。國畫師法徐悲鴻、齊白石等大師，徐悲鴻夫人廖靜文館長3次回信傳授大師畫法。先后修學(xué)于中央美術(shù)學(xué)院、清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院研究生課程班、中國書法家協(xié)會培訓(xùn)中心等。

經(jīng)過多年的實踐與反復(fù)探索并結(jié)合當(dāng)代國畫創(chuàng)作思路，尋求當(dāng)下中國書畫發(fā)展的表現(xiàn)語言，融合導(dǎo)師們的藝術(shù)理念和創(chuàng)作手法，用現(xiàn)代繪畫方式創(chuàng)作了一些具有現(xiàn)代氣息的書畫作品，如《喜上梅梢》等山水與花鳥的結(jié)合作品，深受廣大群眾喜愛！

2000年至今近百余幅書畫作品先后被中國國家博物館、俄羅斯、泰國政府、香港特區(qū)政府等國內(nèi)外藝術(shù)機構(gòu)和企業(yè)家、收藏家收藏。被文化部、中國文聯(lián)、中國美協(xié)、中國書協(xié)、中央電視臺、美術(shù)報社等多家藝術(shù)機構(gòu)授予“全國優(yōu)秀輔導(dǎo)老師”、“藝苑伯樂”等榮譽。

2002年愛心捐贈書畫作品和現(xiàn)金救助“中國狼人”寇金成康復(fù)治療，2007年現(xiàn)場創(chuàng)作手指畫、書法，拍賣近6萬元愛心救助女大學(xué)生王璇，被義烏電視臺授予“愛心大使”榮譽稱號。
