“The Horse and the Dog”教學(xué)實(shí)錄與評(píng)析

閱讀課。
本篇閱讀材料是一則寓言短文,故事圍繞著一只驕傲的狗和一匹聰明的馬展開,旨在讓孩子體驗(yàn)到贊美和謙遜的魅力。這篇閱讀材料有13個(gè)生詞:horse,live,same,proudly,daytime,watch,sheep,grass,evening,guard,plough,turn,true。對(duì)于四年級(jí)的孩子而言,難度還是比較大。在設(shè)計(jì)中,我將趣味性和知識(shí)性結(jié)合,確保孩子既能體驗(yàn)到閱讀的趣味性又能較好地朗讀和理解課文。
1.通過學(xué)習(xí),能正確理解并較為熟練地朗讀故事。
2.學(xué)生在情境中理解并掌握詞匯:horse,live,same,proudly,daytime,watch,sheep,grass,evening,guard,plough,turn,true。
3.學(xué)生能理解并學(xué)會(huì)在適當(dāng)?shù)那闆r下使用: How great Iam!Yes,it’s true.
4.通過活動(dòng)鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生大膽說英語,在語境中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生開口說的能力。
5.通過學(xué)習(xí),懂得欣賞他人的優(yōu)點(diǎn),學(xué)會(huì)贊美。
1.能理解整篇文章并準(zhǔn)確有感情地朗讀每一句。
2.學(xué)生能理解并學(xué)會(huì)在適當(dāng)?shù)那闆r下使用: How great Iam!Yes,it’s true.
3.通過學(xué)習(xí),懂得欣賞他人的優(yōu)點(diǎn),學(xué)會(huì)贊美。

Step 1 Warm up
Let’s play a game.It’s called true or false.
If it is right,you say“true,true,true”.
If it is wrong,you say”false,false,false”.
(PPT呈現(xiàn)學(xué)生的信息,讓學(xué)生判斷)
e.g.
Miss Li is my English teacher.
You can sing English songs.You can make a salad.
T:Great,you can say“How great Iam!”
You can draw pictures.
T:Great,let’s praise ourselves“How great Iam!”
You can read English stories.
T:Good,here’s a story for you.
Let’s read together.
[借班上課可將師生間不熟悉轉(zhuǎn)換為寶貴的教學(xué)資源,通過true or false的游戲拉近師生間的距離,也從聽和說兩方面進(jìn)行了熱身。同時(shí)將How great Iam!作為主線鋪墊。]
Step 2 Presentation
1.通過猜測(cè)導(dǎo)入故事主人公。
Look,this story happens in a farm.
What can you see in the farm?
Horse,sheep.
Many animals live in the farm,who are they?
Let’s listen.
e.g.
It is lovely.It can bark.It says woof woof.Whatis it?
A dog.A horse.Sheep.
Look the sheep,the horse and the dog live in the same farm.
One day,the dog and the horse have a talk.
Is it a happy talk?
Let’s listen.
[這一環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì)是通過猜測(cè)農(nóng)場(chǎng)的動(dòng)物導(dǎo)入故事的主角,自然流暢,在這一環(huán)節(jié)中解決3個(gè)新詞sheep,horse,plough]
2.觀看故事整體感知。
T:Look at the dog and horse,they’re talking.
What are they talking about?
S:They are talking aboutwhat they can do.
3.分角色梳理信息。
T:What can the horse and dog do?
Please read by yourselves and underline the answers.
Ss:The horse can plough.
T:What can the dog do?Do you get the answer?
S:Watch the sheep.(教讀watch)
Guard the house.(教讀guard)
T:The dog can do somany things.
So he is very proud.(教讀proud)
So he says proudly.What does he say?
Let’s listen and imitate.
I can say proudly.Please follow me.
Can you say proudly?Have a try!
(學(xué)生展示)
T:The dog is so proud,so he turns his nose up.
Can you do that?
Great!Let’s do it together and say“You can only plough!”
4.開放性問題,學(xué)生思考。
Now I’m the proud dog.You are the horse.
Are you happy?
Ss:No.
If you are the horse,whatwill you say?
Ss:…
T:Whatwill this horse say?
Let’s listen.

But if Idon’t plough,what do you guard?
5.朗讀課文:模仿跟讀,自己朗讀,分角色朗讀。
表演故事,給故事加結(jié)局。
[在文本的處理中遵循了整體到細(xì)節(jié)這樣的原則,先讓學(xué)生整體感知故事,再詢問細(xì)節(jié),在處理細(xì)節(jié)中感知理解新詞。在這一環(huán)節(jié)中,我加入了模仿驕傲的狗和聰明的馬,學(xué)生參與性很高,讓簡(jiǎn)單的課文朗讀變得興趣盎然。]
Step 3 Production
T:Look at this horse and dog,which one do you like?
Why?
They are both very great,but can we be proud like the dog?
Everyone has his talent,we should praise others.
Praising is themost beautiful voice in the world.
Let’s learn to say how great you are!
[在課堂結(jié)束時(shí),我提出了一個(gè)開放性的問題——你喜歡哪個(gè)小動(dòng)物,目的是讓孩子運(yùn)用本節(jié)課所學(xué)的知識(shí)進(jìn)行回顧,此外對(duì)孩子進(jìn)行情感滲透,人人都有閃光點(diǎn),贊美是最美的語言,要學(xué)會(huì)欣賞他人,完成從How great I am!到How great you are!的轉(zhuǎn)變。]
