51 years ago, Martin Luther King, the American civil rights leader delivered the famous speech I have a dream at Washington Lincoln Memorial.
“I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.”
“I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.”
“I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
51 years has passed, his speech is still echoing. But in August, 2014, in Ferguson, Missouri, America, an African-American youth Michael Brown was shot dead by a white policeman and in October, another African-American youth Myers was also shot dead by a white policeman. The spate of events broke down the dream of I have a dream again. Later, the judgment of non-prosecution of white policemen arose large scale chaos and all targeted at the chronic disease in America and even in the world -- racial discrimination.
51年前,美國民權(quán)運(yùn)動(dòng)領(lǐng)袖馬丁·路德·金在華盛頓林肯紀(jì)念堂發(fā)表了歷史上著名的演講《I have a dream》:
