An only seven-year-old Canadian boy -- Quinn Karen now is selling lemonade outside a grocery store, whose purpose is actually for his friend -- Braden who suffers from cerebral palsy to collect money for treatment. To Karen’s surprise, though his business of lemonade is small, it in deed attracts lots of customers with loving hearts and collects US$50,000 in just a couple of days.
Karen’s good friend Braden has got cerebral palsy that cannot walk as a normal person. In order to walk normally, he receives physical therapy every day. If he can go to America to have a surgery, he can walk better. But the operation fee is as high as US$20,000, which is a huge number for Braden’s family.
When heard the news, Karen wants to help his friend get a smooth surgery. So he comes up with the idea of selling soda water to raise money. For this, his parents are very supportive and help him expand the scope to collect money. They launch an endowment activity of “My Good Friend Braden” online. In only a few days’ time, Karen collects US$52,051.
