國(guó)際會(huì)展中心的啟用，對(duì)永康的經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展產(chǎn)生了極大的促進(jìn)作用。在中國(guó)五金博覽會(huì)龍頭帶動(dòng)下，以五金產(chǎn)業(yè)和中國(guó)科技五金城市場(chǎng)為依托，新興的文化產(chǎn)業(yè)—會(huì)展業(yè)蓬勃發(fā)展，擴(kuò)大了永康的國(guó)際交流與合作。

2012年9月，第17屆中國(guó)五金博覽會(huì)將如期啟幕。這座五金名城處處洋溢著喜慶的氣氛，形如“金鳳凰”的永康國(guó)際會(huì)展中心已敞開了寬廣的胸懷，期待著與世界各國(guó)的嘉賓作一次熱情的擁抱。 （本版攝影：徐恩東）
