Enthusiastic Pattaya Beach,Thailand熱情的泰國芭堤雅海灘

Sand,sun and fun makePattaya (芭堤雅海灘)one of the most populardestinations(目的地)for visitors to Thailand.Pattaya offers every imaginable form of water sports,plentiful and affordable golf courses.Pattaya,on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand,is acosmopolitan city(國際大都市)dedicated to thepursuit(追求)of excitement,pleasure andadventure(冒險).It has boisterous go-go bars,clamorous discos and tumultuous nightclubs.Visitors seeking quiet and unpolluted beaches and alaid-back(悠閑的)atmosphere should go elsewhere.

沙灘、陽光和盡情揮灑的快樂使芭堤雅海灘成為泰國最受歡迎的旅游景點之一。芭堤雅為游客提供各種形式的水上運動和多種大眾消費水平的高爾夫球場。這個位于泰國灣東岸的國際大都市是追求刺激、快樂及冒險的好地方，那兒有喧鬧的現(xiàn)代酒吧、迪斯科舞廳及過夜酒館，而尋求靜謐、清潔的海灘和悠閑氛圍的游客則只能另尋他處了。

Monument of Love—Taj Mahal愛情的豐碑——泰姬陵

The Taj Mahal is amonument(遺跡)located in Agra in India.On 17thJune,1631,Mumtaz Mahal died during childbirth.Her husband,Mughalemperor(皇帝)Shah Jahan I,then spent more than 20 years to build her tomb,the Taj Mahal.It was constructed between 1631 and 1654 by a workforce of 20,000.

泰姬瑪哈（泰姬陵）是著名的名勝古跡，位于

印度的阿格拉，1631年的6月17日，印度皇后姬蔓·芭奴死于難產(chǎn)。其夫——皇帝沙賈汗一世花了20多年修建她的陵墓，即現(xiàn)在的泰姬陵。它在1631到1654年間由兩萬人建成。

Seattle’s Coffee Culture西雅圖的咖啡文化

People in Seattle love coffee.Some say it’s because Seattle has many rainy days and people need coffee to be happy.Others say coffee shops are popular because Seattle people are very laid-back and relaxed.Coffee shops in Seattle are a lot like teahouses in China.In Seattle,people go to coffee shops to talk to friends,read,play games,work on the computer,or relax.Coffee is an important part of people’s day.The world’s largest coffee shop chain,Starbucks,first opened in Seattle in 1971.But Starbuck is not the only popular coffee shop in the city.There are other large chains,like Seattle’s Best Coffee,Caffe Ladro,or Tully’s.Seattle also has many small neighborhood coffee shops.Everyone has their favorite.

西雅圖人喜愛咖啡。有人將這歸之于西雅圖氣候多雨，因此人們需要咖啡來保持心情愉快。也有人認為咖啡館之所以風(fēng)行是因為西雅圖人生活閑適、愜意。西雅圖的咖啡館和中國的茶館很像。在西雅圖，人們到咖啡館與朋友交談，在那里讀書、做游戲，攜帶電腦工作，或者休息、放松?？Х仁谴蠹乙惶焐畹闹匾M成部分。星巴克，這個全球最大的咖啡連鎖店，1971年首先在西雅圖開張。不過西雅圖知名的咖啡館不止星巴克一家。還有其他大型連鎖店，比如西雅圖極品咖啡，Caffe Ladro和Tully’s。另外這里也有許多小型社區(qū)咖啡館。每個人都有自己的最愛。

斐濟群島被稱作 “南太平洋的十字路口”，斐濟群島共由332個島嶼組成，面積18,333平方公里，分布成馬蹄的形狀，斐濟大部分是珊瑚礁環(huán)繞的火山島，斐濟是個多種族的國家，斐濟族與印度族是兩個主要民族，其他的有羅圖馬島人、歐洲人和華人。斐濟的國飲叫“卡瓦酒”。初到斐濟的外國游客，如果能受到當(dāng)?shù)厝藶樗e行的卡瓦酒的儀式，則被認為是受到了最隆重的接待而感到無尚光榮。

Do you know something about the islands of Fiji?The islands of Fiji are in the South Pacific Ocean.

Fiji is a fascinating country.The view in Fiji is very beautiful.It’s full of attractions that can be found nowhere else.You can float in the calm,quiet waters at sunset or walk alone throughlush (茂盛的)rainforest in Fiji.It is where the sun shines almost every day and when it rains,people rush outside for a rain-bath in the warm,briefdownpour(傾盆大雨)of a tropical shower which ends as quickly as it began.This is where life is lived for the joy of it all,where rushing is rude,and the name of a new friend is never forgotten.Fiji is where people wear flowers hid in their hair,not to impress visitors,but because they like to.

The fishermen of Fiji live in small villages near the sea.These villages are very beautiful.Happy children play under thepalm trees(棕櫚樹).The islanders build their houses on big stones and do not go into the houses.They also build their houses on the water.The islanders make their roofs withcoconut(椰子)leaves.They cover their floors withmats(墊子).The fishermen make theircanoes(獨木舟)from treetrunks(樹干).They go from island to island and collectturtle eggs(海龜?shù)?.They catch their fish with nets or with spears(矛).
