農(nóng)夫的金子

1.One spring,an innocent farmer in prison received a letter from his wife. It said,“Its time to grow potatoes, I have to dig the land by myself.”一年春天,一個(gè)無辜入獄的農(nóng)夫收到妻子的信。信上說:“該種土豆了,我只好自己翻地?！?/p>

2.The farmer wanted to help his wife. Suddenly, an idea occurred to him.農(nóng)夫很想幫妻子。突然,他想到了一個(gè)辦法。

3.He wrote a letter to his wife,“Dont dig the land. There is a pot of gold in the land.” The farmer gave the letter to the guard to send it for him. 農(nóng)夫給妻子寫了一封信:“別去翻地,地里藏著一罐金子。”農(nóng)夫把信交給看守代寄。

4.The guard handed the letter to the king at once.看守急忙將這封信交給了國王。

5.The next day, more than ten soldiers dug the farmers land several times, but they didnt find anything.第二天,十多個(gè)士兵把農(nóng)夫家的地翻了好幾遍,但他們什么也沒發(fā)現(xiàn)。

6.The farmer received his wifes letter again. His wife told him what had happened.農(nóng)夫又收到了妻子的信,妻子把發(fā)生的事告訴了他。

7.The farmer laughed after reading the letter. He wrote a letter to his wife,“So now you can grow potatoes. Potatoes are the gold for our poor man.”看完信之后,農(nóng)夫笑了。他給妻子寫了一封回信:“那么,現(xiàn)在你可以種土豆了。土豆可是咱窮人的金子啊!”
