Smith：Yes，Im having three baths aday。
Brown：What for?
Smith：Don't know，doctor's orders，Hegave me some medicine and told me to followthe directions on the bottle，which read：“Onetablespoonful to be taken three times a day inwater”
醫(yī)生的囑咐
布朗：見(jiàn)到你身體這么不好真令人難過(guò)。你去看過(guò)醫(yī)生嗎?
史密斯：看過(guò)，我現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)一天洗三次澡了。
布朗：為什么?
史密斯：我也不知道，這是醫(yī)生的囑咐。他給了我一些藥并告訴我要按照藥瓶上的說(shuō)明去做，說(shuō)明上面寫(xiě)著“一天三次在水中服一湯匙”。

Jemmy did not know his lesson，Theteacher said to him：“We do not know ourlesson，we shall write it out ten times fortomorrow，”The next day Jemmy gave his taskto the teacher，who said：“You only write yourlesson five times，why?”
“Because，”answered Jemmy，“you said，‘We shall write our lesson ten times，so Iwrote it five times myself，I thought that youwould write the five other times yourself，Sir!”

吉米不懂課文內(nèi)容，于是老師告訴他：“我們不懂得課文內(nèi)容，我們要抄寫(xiě)十遍課文明天交?！钡诙?，吉米把作業(yè)交給了老師，老師問(wèn)道：“你為什么只抄了五遍?”
吉米回答說(shuō)：“因?yàn)槟阏f(shuō)過(guò)，‘我們要抄十遍，所以我就抄了五遍，我想另外的五遍你會(huì)抄的?！?/p>
