For both China and Algeria,2008 is an unusual year,as it marks the 50th anniver-sary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations of both countries.Immediately after the Algerian Temporary Government(GPRA)'s founding in 1958,China gave it recognition and established full diplomatic relations with Algeria in the same year, on December 20.It was the first non-Arab country to do so.Since then,harmonious friendship between two countries built up and tight up with the increasing exchange in economy,politics,culture,and other aspects.
