在學(xué)習(xí)英語的過程中，你是否覺得英語里有一些成語和諺語與漢語里的成語和諺語頗為相似，讀起來也倍感親切呢?例如：

Strike while the iron is hot.趁熱打鐵。

All is fair in war.兵不厭詐。

Walls have ears.隔墻有耳。

Give him an inch and hell take a yard.得寸進尺。

Standers-by see more than gamesters.旁觀者清，當(dāng)局者迷。

以上幾則英語成語和我們的漢語成語簡直就像鍋里的兩顆豌豆，一模一樣：as like as two peas in a pot；而下面的這些英語成語，雖然與漢語不完全相同，卻在喻事和用詞上有著異曲同工之妙。希望大家讀時不要笑掉腦袋：to laugh your head off——當(dāng)然，在漢語里“被人笑掉大牙”是件很不好意思的事，而在英語中，“笑掉自己的腦袋”卻是非常開心的。
