“雨”詞“雨”句小聚會(huì)

英美人見(jiàn)面，不像中國(guó)人問(wèn)對(duì)方吃了飯沒(méi)有，而是經(jīng)常談天氣。西方人不愿意談?wù)撟约旱乃绞拢鞖鈩t是與人人有關(guān)的，談?wù)劅o(wú)妨，所以人人談，天天談。談天氣離不開(kāi)談“雨”，英語(yǔ)中有許多“雨”詞和“雨”句。

說(shuō)到下雨，英語(yǔ)中就有好幾種意思都相同的“雨”句。例如：

我們這里雨水很多。

It’s often rainy here.

There’s a lot of rain here.

We have a lot of rain here.

看起來(lái)要下雨了。

It often rains here.

It looks like rain.

It looks as if it’s going to rain.

It seems to be rainy.

我希望雨快些停。

I hope the rain won’t last long.

I hope the rain will pass over soon.

I hope the rain will stop soon.

上面幾種意思相同的“雨”句都借助表示“雨”的最常用詞“rain”：rain作名詞表示“下雨”，作動(dòng)詞也表示“下雨”，“rain”的派生形容詞是“rainy”。用“rain”也可以表示大雨或小雨，但不用big 或small，而應(yīng)該說(shuō)：

heavyrain 大雨

light rain小雨

除了rain 以外，還有另外幾個(gè)表示雨量大小的“雨”詞，例如：
