My Summer Holiday

Summer holiday is from July to August．It’s a long time for me to do all kinds of things．I like visiting some Dlaces of interest．And I like traveling by train．It takes me too much time，but it saves money．Sometimes I stay at home and do my homework，sometimes I help my parents dosome house work．When myparents are free，we often go to the park or the zoo，and wehave a good time there．I havea geed summer holiday．

What do you need?

●water 水

●rice wine 米酒

●a plastic bottle 一個塑料瓶

●a drinking straw 一根吸管

●some clay 一些黏土(或橡皮泥)

1.Mix some water and some ricewine into the bottle．Then add fourdrops of ink．

把一些水和米酒混合放入一個瓶子，然后往瓶子里滴四滴紅墨水。

2.Put the straw in the bottle．Do not let it touch the bottom．Keep the straw in place with the clay．

在瓶子里放一根吸管，不要讓它接觸到瓶底。拿橡皮泥把瓶口封住，讓吸管在橡皮泥中間。

3.Hold your hands on the bottle and seewhat happens to the water．wine and ink．

把你的手緊握住瓶子的外壁。仔細觀察水、米酒和墨水都有哪些變化。

What happens?

When your hands warm the water．wineand ink．they do not stay at the bottom of thebottle．Instead，they move up the straw．
