Characters:Panda,Lion,

Monkey, Rabbit, Cow, Storyteller

Its Saturday afternoon. The sun is shining. Boy Panda is playing with his radio-controlled car(1). Many animals gather around him.

Panda: This is my favorite toy. Its nice.

Whats your favorite toy, Cow?

Cow: I like kites best. I can fly kites well.

Panda: Little rabbit, whats your favorite toy? Is it a toy ship?

Rabbit: No, I like dolls best. I have three pretty Barbie dolls(2).

Panda: Do you like toys, Brother Lion?

Lion: No, I dont like toys. I like playing football best.

Panda: Really? Now lets play football, OK?

Animals: Great!

Now all the animals go to the football field. They are having a friendly game of football now. Lion is strong; he impresses(3) everybody with his great kicking. Monkey is clever. He uses his slingshot(4) skills(5) to shoot the ball to Rabbit. Then Rabbit kicks the ball quickly. The game is so exciting that the fans(6) are nearly crazy. “Lion, no， Monkey, no, Rabbit...” They shout. Cow doesnt do much during the game. But he does a very good job. He is the goalkeeper(7).

Then Panda, a member of the cheering squad(8) goes out of the football field and walks to the supermarket nearby.

Panda(saying to himself): Lion, Monkey, Rabbit and Cow are all my good friends. Now they are playing football. They must be hungry and thirsty after the match. So Im going to buy some food, drink and fruit for them.

In the supermarket，Panda buys many things. They are bananas，carrots, meat，orange juice，coke... Then he goes back to the football field.

There, Lion, Monkey, Rabbit and Cow are embracing(9) warmly. Oh, wonderful! The game is over. Lion and his team members are the champions(10).

Panda: (taking the things out of his bag) Congratulations on winning the game! Here are some fruits, food and drink for you. Rabbit, do you like some carrots and milk?

Rabbit: Yes, I like them very much. Im hungry and thirsty.

Panda: OK. Here you are.

Rabbit: (eating carrots and drinking milk) Wow, how nice! Thanks a lot.

Panda: Here are some green vegetables and orange juice for you, Cow.

Cow: Oh, many thanks.

Panda: Thats all right.

Panda then gives some bananas and coffee to Monkey.

Panda: These are for you, Monkey.

Monkey: Thank you, Panda.

Panda: Its my pleasure. Oh, Brother Lion, I think you like meat. Now give you some meat and coke.

Lion: You are so kind, Panda.

Lion, Monkey, Rabbit & Cow: Oh, Panda. There isnt anything else(11) in your bag. Whats your food and drink?

Panda（smiling）: Um, I... I forgot(12)!It doesnt matter.

All the animals go to the supermarket and buy Panda his favorite food and drink.
